Perfect!

What a place, when we arrived we were first a little concerned about the isolation...but when we realised where we were staying and what we had access to...it was great to be isolated there. Everything was awesome, the food was next level, we only ate off the Sri Lankan menu and are very glad we did. The room was lovely, the pool very relaxing and the staff very helpful. Having a shuttle to Lion Rock at 0500 in the morning helped beat the crowds and heat and when we finished, the driver had cool water and cold towels, a nice touch. Would love to stay here again one day.

Newly build up resort - all facilities looks fresh, thoughtful, convenient. Enough space in the room, terrace. Perfect wifi accessibility! Great pool, always helpful staff, bar and food available at needed time. I can't highlight more - breakfast was something amazing - fresh fruits, rice porridge soup, your choice of eggs, and then set of local foods. Also we were greeted with fresh juice drink - quite a nice touch :)

The area on which the apartments/houses were built is incredible. Sourrounded by nature, with a perfect view of the two gigantic rocks that every tourist wants to see anyway during their stay. It's quite, you hear nothing but nature which is amazing especially when you just came from a bigger city. All in all, the facilities are modern, clean and everything you would expect from a high level hotel like this. However, what you would probably not expect, is one of the nicest hosts both my friend and I have met during many stays over the last weeks of travelling. We felt welcome the second we arrived and when asking how long the pool is open, the answer was "Don't worry, you're home.". I think that pretty much sums it up. Kalika and Preethika, the hosts and owners, made us feel like a member of a family, and they helped us planning some amazing trips (booking tuck tucks to the rocks at 5am in the morning, a safari to the elephants, a cab to a nearby temple,...). I don't know if I could expecty anything more from a stay, and the both of them were responsible not only for a great stay from dinner to breakfast, but also for everything in between. I strongly recommend staying at this property and speaking with the owners Kalika and Preethika, they are insporing, welcoming, humorous and caring people. What also makes this place special is the fact that every single one working at the property is genuinely friendly, we had many nice conversations with staff at the restaurant. People were sincerely interested not only in our plans but also in showing what the Sri Lankan cuisine has to offer. Speaking of which: Try Sri Lankan breakfast and curry rice for dinner. The stilted buildings are really cool and give you a great view. We saw a whole range of amazing birds and some lizards from the balcony, and our room (at the end) had a good view of Sigiriya rock. Amila is a wonderful host and really helped us before our stay with booking things.

They helped us with everything we needed. The cooked food is very good! The house is close to Dambulla Cave Temple and the center. Thanks for everything!

Sigiri Forest View is located in Sigiriya. The accommodation will provide you with a balcony and a seating area. There is also a dining table. The host was extremely helpful. He recommended and helps arranged activities for us. He even offered to drive us for more than 5 hours to our next destination. Other than that, the place was clean and the meal there were cheap and delicious. And its only 15 minutes walk from here to the Pidurangala Rock. Definitely recommend everyone to stay here when coming to Sigiriya.

Aliya Resort and Spa - Thema Collection is set amidst lush tropical foliage. Situated just opposite Sigiriya Rock, the resort boasts an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and 4 dining options. Really excellent place to stay. We loved the wooden cottages, and the breakfast was great. Loved the views of course, as well as the view of Sigiriya.

My recent stay at Sundaras Infinity Jungle Resort in Dambulla was pleasant and comfortable. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the essentials. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and it was good value for money. Overall, I had an excellent stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Dambulla.
