Preethika and Kalika are the best hosts you could ever ask for. Like that aunt and uncle you never had. Traveling during Covid can be complicated and stressful. From before the trip started, Preethika was all over the admin side and made sure everything ran smoothly. Particularly the airport transfer which was a dream especially after a long journey. When we got to the hotel, the team made us feel welcome right away with fresh cold juice and a warm greeting. Our 7-day stay was flawless and all our stress from back home just melted away. Both Kalika and Preethika run the hotel out of passion for nature, good hospitality and people. Their 9.8 score (highest we've ever seen) is a testament to how much they put into everything they do. God service både med transport og imøtekommelse av våre behov. Vi fikk veldig god hjelp til transport fra Hikkaduwa til Sigirya. Sjåføren eieren bestilte var utrolig vennlig, trygg og til å stole på. Bilen han kjørte oss rundt i helt fra Hikkaduwa, via Sigirya og til Arugam Bay var komfortabel. Trehytt var eksotisk med utsikt til Lions Rock. Vi fikk servert masse god frukt på bestilling til frokost. Vi er veldig fornøyd og håper å komme tilbake en annen gang!

Located in Dambulla, 19 km from Sigiriya Rock, girilena resort provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. I spent 2 nights at Girilena Resort, and was very satisfied with my stay. The bed was comfortable (with a mosquito net), room was spacious, breakfast was amazing, and the hosts were the best! From the moment I arrived in Dambulla, Dilshan (the manager) was amazing. He helped me with any queries I had, helped plan day trips,provided transportation whenever I needed, and went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience in general. I felt very comfortable staying here as a solo female traveller, and would highly recommend Girilena Resort :)

Sigiri Forest View is located in Sigiriya. The accommodation will provide you with a balcony and a seating area. There is also a dining table. The host was extremely helpful. He recommended and helps arranged activities for us. He even offered to drive us for more than 5 hours to our next destination. Other than that, the place was clean and the meal there were cheap and delicious. And its only 15 minutes walk from here to the Pidurangala Rock. Definitely recommend everyone to stay here when coming to Sigiriya.

Aliya Resort and Spa - Thema Collection ligger ongitt av frodig, tropisk vegetasjon. The staff were friendly, professional and extremely helpful. They anticipated our requests and checked in on how our day was at dinner and whether we needed anything. I have stayed at some bigger name hotels whose staff have not done this, meaning we have had to call reception or make a trip to reception to organise trips or request something for the room etc. Not the case at Aliya. We organised our entire Pidurangla climb at the dinner table between courses with their helpful staff who gave us tips and organised transport for us. The pool was beautiful. The grounds are extensive and so peaceful. There are nature trails and pottery to try. The food was great for all meals with plenty of choice. The room was large enough for the three of us. Only thing that was missing was an iron and ironing board but I am sure we could have requested from reception. Overall a stay that exceeded our expectations and a hotel that looks better in real life than in photos! Would definitely recommend and stay again!
