Beautiful bungalows with a huge garden directly in front of the beach. All the bungalows have a big glass front where you can see the garden and at some locations the beach. Incredibly nice staff - try to help and accommodate wherever they can. Could change the room without problems as I needed AC to be able to sleep (March can be incredibly hot and humid). Even came back to the hotel after diving on the other side of the island. Everything seems a bit rustic as first but you will definitely fall in love with it. There is a really really nice gift shop with handicrafts on site - really nice woman from the village, definitely one to support. The locations to the beach is super close and to the left there are two more hotels you can go for dinner or a drink. People all know each other on Mafia and help you with everything! :) Breakfast is great!

I have no word to describe the kindness of Hassan to welcome in his garden. Everything is curated and comfortable. Restaurant is delicious and the atmosphere in the garden under the stars is simply amazing. This place is a must if in Mafia. The room is also comfortable, mosquitoes free and clean. Hassan also organize and suggest great tours with selected guides. You can completely rely on him and his staff

Featuring a garden, Mafia Island Bungalows offers accommodations in Utende. The service and staff were wonderful, very attentive and helpful. Free bikes so we could go into Utende which is 10 minutes away. Very nice gardens and grounds. Comfortable and nicely decorated rooms. Great food and juices. Only 2 rooms so feels boutique.

Kileleni has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Kilindoni. The rooms include a patio. At the resort, rooms contain a closetand a balcony with a garden view. This has to be the best place on Mafia island. Set apart from town, on a bluff with a commanding view of the sea, and the sunset, three very stylish - and huge - rooms, large infinity pool, great food, superb manager in Ali and his excellent assistant Salama. Mafia is great - a paradise Indian Ocean island just open enough to be accessible and for everything to be easy to arrange - but it feels like the big tourist rush is yet to arrive. And Kilekeni, a short hop from town, the airport or the busier east coast, is one of its most serene and supremely relaxing spots.
