Situated in Bastimentos, Ataraxia features accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and sea views. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. This is really a little hidden gem in Panama. We very much enjoyed our stay there, it is isolated in the nature, and it is the perfect place to relax and a good point from which to discover the island. Breakfast is amazing, fresh products, 1 day sweet, 1 day savoury. They also offer delicious dinners (20usd pp), the menu changes every night and they are very accommodating if you have dietary restrictions (or things you don't like). They have snorkeling equipment and kayaks available for free which is very nice. You can reach Old Town by foot (20 min), it is however a bit of an adventure trail. The rooms were clean and staff was great and always available to answer questions and help make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We definitely will go back if we get the opportunity.

With garden views, Carmen's place is located in Bastimentos and has a restaurant and luggage storage space. The property features sea and lake views. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. All of the special attentions of Carmen and Marcel to make you feel at home. In our case, the special skills of Carmen to adapt breakfast and dinner to our special diet restrictions and alkergies. Then, obviously, the paradise view and decks to admire it. Also the free Kayak to vist surroundings. So, really great place.

The Lodge at Punta Rica- Hilltop Eco-Lodge with Views & Pool is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Bastimentos, where guests can makes the most of its pool with a view, private beach area and... Dan & Brian's place overlooks the sea and is just a few steps from a lovely little beach with white sand and coral reefs on either side. They provide snorkelling equipment, paddle boards and kayaks free of charge. The house itself is impressive and the rooms very nicely furnished. Beds super comfy. The pool is a good size and nice and warm, and surrounded by trees full of birds and the occasional sloth or monkey. The food was fantastic and they make great cocktails. They also organised us a private tour to the Zapatillas islands which was idyllic, and they had lots of other great recommendations, including the easy hike to Wizard beach which is stunning and was practically empty.

True Nature Jungle House is located in Bastimentos and offers a terrace. The property features city and sea views. It’s located in the most beautiful part of the island. The view from the balcony- indescribable!!! Peaceful, beautiful place that help you truly feel the island vibe! It’s close to the restaurants, host gave me the best advice with choosing one. Frances ( the host) is just amazing and the way she takes care of the place and the visitors, is more than perfect! Highly recommend choosing this place to stay!

I really like everything! the bungalow is awesome, the staff is so friendly and helpful. it’s an amazing place, the boat tour was perfect and the breakfast is delicious.
