Akwaba Lodge features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in The Gap. Among the various facilities of this property are water sports facilities and a private beach area. We stayed in the Jungle lodge house, which is in a perfect location, a little further away from the main building. We enjoyed sitting outside on the porch early in the morning with a cup of coffee and watching the water and a beautiful nature around. Sunrise and sunset at Akwaba lodge are amazing! Natali and JC are wonderful hosts - very attentive and ready to help at any moment. We also enjoyed evenings and dinners: great atmosphere, excellent cocktails and food (special thank you to a great chef Rodger), music and delicious desserts. We had a wonderful time at Akwaba lodge. Thank you!

Very pleasant atmosphere thanks to the kind owners. The place offers access to the sea and at the same time a stay in the jungle, a generous terrace with a restaurant lies practically in the treetops. We also took advantage of the offer of dinners, we were satisfied. The owners offer to rent kayaks, snorkels with goggles. They can also arrange trips and advise on what activities can be undertaken.

The Lodge at Punta Rica- Hilltop Eco-Lodge with Views & Pool is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Bastimentos, where guests can makes the most of its pool with a view, private beach area and... Dan & Brian's place overlooks the sea and is just a few steps from a lovely little beach with white sand and coral reefs on either side. They provide snorkelling equipment, paddle boards and kayaks free of charge. The house itself is impressive and the rooms very nicely furnished. Beds super comfy. The pool is a good size and nice and warm, and surrounded by trees full of birds and the occasional sloth or monkey. The food was fantastic and they make great cocktails. They also organised us a private tour to the Zapatillas islands which was idyllic, and they had lots of other great recommendations, including the easy hike to Wizard beach which is stunning and was practically empty.
