We relay enjoyed our stay and we extend our stay for one more night. The location is beautiful. Our hosts, Manon and Pierre, were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Surrounding is full of animals. From the porch we were watching mangrove black hawk catching crabs in the palm garden. In the forest around the restaurant there is a red frog on almost every tree. The gardener showed us a spectacled caiman living in a ditch in the garden. We did kayaking to the small river mouth mangrove where we saw a sloth.

The Lodge at Punta Rica- Hilltop Eco-Lodge with Views & Pool is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Bastimentos where guests can make the most of its pool with a view, free Wifi, private beach... Punta Rica Lodge is nestled in the Bastimentos island jungle, surrounded by beautiful flora (trees, colorful flowers) and fauna (amazingly rich wildlife). We loved our super friendly, open, fun and helpful hosts, Brian and Daniel, who have made us truly feel at ease and among friends in this beautiful place. Most nights we ate dinner together, since Dan cooks the most amazing and varied dishes, all from fresh, local ingredients, while Brian makes wonderful cocktails that made us feel at home and among friends, sharing stories, dreams and travel adventures. We loved the pool and the common area (living and dining room), as well as our amazing suite, the delicious and fresh meals and the smiles. Thank you. It was one of the most amazing experiences ever.

True Nature Jungle House is located in Bastimentos and offers a terrace. The property features city and sea views. It’s located in the most beautiful part of the island. The view from the balcony- indescribable!!! Peaceful, beautiful place that help you truly feel the island vibe! It’s close to the restaurants, host gave me the best advice with choosing one. Frances ( the host) is just amazing and the way she takes care of the place and the visitors, is more than perfect! Highly recommend choosing this place to stay!

Located in Bastimentos, Eclypse de Mar Acqua Lodge offers private bungalows and rooms with individual hammocks and stairs that provide access to the ocean. A restaurant is also on site. The bungalow is spacious and has a private deck with access to the water. The hammock was a happy surprise. We enjoyed using the kayaks, paddleboards, and snorkeling equipment. A beautiful place to stay for beach lovers. Highly recommended A++
