Easy to find and run by a wonderful manager - Mihi. Nothing was too much trouble and she made us feel very welcome. There were secure facilities for our car and bikes (we were doing the Twin Coast Cycle trail).

- The owner gave me a personalised tour of my apartment - Stay Kerikeri is only a short walk to Kerikeri's CBD - I was able to park right outside my apartment - The apartment was comfortable and the decor was cool and quirky - The artworks on the walls depicted local places and Kiwiana (the last Northland motel I stayed at had photos of Paris and Prague on the walls!!! Why???)
The best hotel in Northland. It can only be surpassed by boutique lodges, but then the prices are relevant. I've stayed and dined here many times since the multi-million-dollar refurbishment was completed, and the staff continue to make The Duke my favourite place away from home.

Friendly staff, always welcoming, my favourite place to stay in Whangarei. Great value for money. I recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for decent accommodation in Northland, dogs are also welcome, the only hotel that offers this service in Whangarei.
The hostel is very new and clean and has everything you need. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We loved the location in front of Paihia Beach! After travelling all around Northland, this is definitely the best hostel there is! Definitely recommend.
Ahipara
We spent a great night here as a stopover for our journey to Northland, a beautiful self-contained apartment with a sea view and a bonus friendly puppy that would wander over for the occasional pat. Thanks for having us hope to return one day! 😍

Very detailed instructions made the arrival straightforward. The apartment is quirky and very spacious and these impressions stayed with us for the duration of our stay. A very comfortable stop on a journey through Tai Tokerau/Northland.

The apartment was was fantastic, very clean and comfortable and a great view of the bay. Ideal location for seeing the best beaches of the Northland. Would definitely recommend if your looking for somewhere to stay in this area.

The location of the campground is perfect, directly behind the beach. You can even hear the waves within the Cabins. Everything was really clean and the staff was super nice and tried to make us comfortable at any time
