Being able to take my family back to my childhood town was awesome, views to die for, facilities excellent, staff very helpful and friendly, location amazing. We will 100% be returning again.

Set in Kaikohe, 35 km from Opua Forest, Left Bank offers air-conditioned accommodation and a garden. Terrific location in Kaikohe on the main street. Easy to find and run by a wonderful manager - Mihi. Nothing was too much trouble and she made us feel very welcome. There were secure facilities for our car and bikes (we were doing the Twin Coast Cycle trail).

Just 250 meters from sandy Paihia Beach, Paihia Pacific Resort features an outdoor pool. Flat-screen cable TV is standard in all rooms. Free parking is available on site. Comfort, clean and great location. Staff were great and made excellent recommendations for tours and places to eat. Value for money. Perfect accommodation as you're basically out all day and just sleeping there.

Mangonui Hotel features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Mangonui. This 3-star hotel offers a shared kitchen, an ATM and free WiFi. The location on the waterfront is great. And it was delightful to be able to sit on the verandah and take in the view of Mangonui Harbour. Also, I was pleased that this historic hotel still retains it's Victorian character, and has not been excessively modernised.
