This was the best last minute booking I have ever made. The Farmhouse was the sanctuary my family and I needed as we made an impromptu trip to the far north. Set in an idyllic farm setting which seemed far from the stresses of city life was only 5 minutes from the main road. As someone who often stays in motels and hotels this farmhouse was a breath of fresh air and the detail and care put into ensuring the property was ready to greet guests did not go unnoticed. My family are already planning our next trip to stay.

We really enjoy the attentions of the lovely staff. Thank you! We are regular visitors who love this spacious and beautifully located hotel. We love the pool and tennis court and close proximity to the beach. We love the Far North, especially Mangonui, which is only 10 minutes away.

Spotless , Stunning decor ,Very comfortable. Best wine list I have ever seen. Well constructed and very reasonably priced. Compared to other accommodation that we had in the far north ,this was head and shoulders above everything

We loved this little hotel and would definitely stay again. The reciptiionist was informative and very nice. the room was comfortable and we could walk to dinner and the beach was beautiful.

I liked the close proximity to the main town centre, allowing for a great access to everything around the area. Particularly liked the quietness of the units and how sleeping there was a dream. Would go back again, perfect for it’s worth.

Great are location, amenities, staff, facilities. Great place for quite holiday out of daily croud an stress. I definitely recommend this location and region.

Cabin was spacious and well-equipped with a lovely location right near the water. So nice to sit with a cup of coffee in the morning and just relax. Shared facilities were great!—Kitchen has plenty of cooktops and sinks. Bathrooms were super clean and showers were nice and hot. Staff were very accommodating with storing bags before check-in and allowing a slightly later checkout. So friendly and helpful!

The entire manaaki of this place was outstanding. Thank you very much for hosting a short notice space for our Hapū lunch, when our marae became unavailable due to a tangihanga. Your support in this matter was amazing. The cleanliness of the self contained units, cabins, communal kitchen, ablution blocks and house, the property and facilities, volley ball space, carpark area, playground area, space for sporting activites, pool and riverside for swimming were definitely highlights for family highlights. A fantastic place for families - absolutely highly recommended.
