What a lovely touch! Francesca then helped us find somewhere open for dinner. The room was big, clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. I can't recommend this place enough. Beautiful building in the middle of the Italian riviera with super helpful and positive staff. We enjoyed every moment of our stay, especially waking up in the morning looking at the sea and enjoying the sunshine directly out of our bed. At breakfast you can find a lot of local specialities and also international ones which are all delicious. The rooms are modern and very clean, the mattress was ultra comfortable and seems to be new. Important: Check the hotel internet site, since they give you better pricing as Booking!
The building is very modern and new, nice design. Friendly staff. We got the room we booked with lateral sea view, which has both sea view and mountain and town. Asked for higher floor and it was kindly provided. Great solarium with view and jacuzzi ( could work a bit later too). Amazing breakfast- they had great croissant selection, and it was possible to order coffee from the bar too. Beach is near and really good. We travelled through Italian Riviera and it was one of the best places we stayed.
Beach location is excellent! After the French Cote d'Azure this was like being back in golden age of the Italian Riviera. The hotel was clan, comfortable and friendly. The included breakfast was very good. I met someone from the council who said that the beach huts will be take away. Please don't do this as it adds to the unique character of the area. Pease don't allow Alossio to become another tourist resort. Please let it stay the same.
This was the high point of our trip through the French and Italian Riviera. A charming 1920s hotel with spacious rooms, excellent decor and a perfect location next to the sandy beach of Alassio. The views from the rooms were glorious, the breakfasts were amazing, and the restaurant also serves a very good and reasonably priced dinner. All the hotel staff were extremely kind and helpful. Very much hope to visit again!
A very clean and pleasant hotel located very close to the train station which made for a great base to visit the many delights of the Italian Riviera. Our stay at the Coccodrillo was made fabulous by the very attentive reception team, who were friendly and could not do enough for us. Thank you to Sylvia and Giulio for checking us in early and out late and helping with speaking Italian and making nice cappuccinos :-)
A beautiful contemporary room in a traditional hotel well located on an exquisite Italian riviera town. Quiet and well air-conditioned to cope with the very hot day of our visit to the mid-summer over-crowded beach. A very helpful friendly staff and useful private car park nearby.
The apartment is a short walk (5-10 min) from the center of town with easy access to a grocery store and stairs down to Camogli‘s beaches. It is a wonderful little former/current fishing village that is not as touristy as other destinations on the Italian Riviera.
Proprietor Orestes x his lovely wife are first-class innkeepers. Kind, generous and worldly. Orestes is a 3rd generation family owner of this jewelry of a hotel on the Italian Riviera. I will return!
