Beds were flat and hard. Pillows too didn’t hardly sleep. With new beds they’d be a ten.

Good choice for that money. Location is great, 5 min walk from marina and its ferry station. Nice, polite and friendly staff, ready to help with anything.
The room was small and not new, but remember the price :) Everything was clean, bed is good. Nice marina view, but if you like opened windows, than try to get a “garden” view – all day and night there are bikes wrrrrroooommmming loud. But it’s the problem of many Italian cities.
Parking – they have it! An additional €15/day option, but believe, it’s better not trying to find a public or even private parking – you’ll be driving and driving around and finally pay like $2/hr.
Breakfasts are ok and better than in other places I’ve stayed (for similar value), you should consider what is a typical Italian brrakfast, or just Google it.

We absolutely loved Rapallo, easy to get to Cinque Terre...
We absolutely loved Rapallo, easy to get to Cinque Terre from here but less crowded, so glad we didn't stay in Cinque Terre and stayed the whole time in Rapallo. Rapallo has the most beautiful buildings with fresco's and the restaurants are also less expensive than Portafino and Cinque Terre. Loved Portafino , it is like stepping into a fairytale but it is only for the rich and famous, Rapallo catered to our needs. Our last night we ate at a restaurant called Sole, it was a little more expensive than the other restaurants but the food was outstanding, a truly incredible experience, the waiter was knowledgeable and five star, in fact all the staff were outstanding and we sat outside looking at the sea and the castle, really worth going and lovely end to our holiday. The weekly market was more like a flea market which was a little disappointing, still spent allot but allot of the goods seem to come from China and India. Will have great memories of Rapalla, our best stay in Italy as it made us feel relaxed.

Rapallo seems to be a base camp to visit neighbor beach villages, Santa Margherita Ligure, Portofino, Camogli and Fruttuoso, by train or ferry. Rapallo itself is a nice place having many nice beaches and good restaurants.

We really liked it.
We really liked it. There was a fantastic ice cream place, Il Frigidarium, which had lovely flavours and great prices - coffee too. We only ate out once but that was very good - La Goletta - good food (fish!), friendly service, excellent value. We also found it very handy for public transport - the train to Genoa and the Cinque Terre and the boat to Portofino.
In the town there were good supermarkets and shops of all sorts.

Very under stated.
Very under stated. A perfect spot to visit Porto Fino and santa Margherita (use the bus or walk there instead of your car) and/or Cinque Terre (by train from Rapallo). Lots of good restaurants on the sea front to choose from and very nice views.

A perfect place to base a holiday.
A perfect place to base a holiday. Public transport was reliable easy and inexpensive. Also plenty to look at in the town. Good bars and restaurants. We attended a superb free concert in one of the churches. Easy access to railway and Genoa airport Look for the smaller restaurants. Plenty in the narrow medieval quarter.
Location is just outside the centre, though it is a small walk to get there. Breakfast was great and complete with everything. Parking of the car has been arranged well by the personel.. Thankfully for that. Because in the summer Rapallo is very busy. The room was good and roomservice was even better. If we go to rapallo again I would certainly book again and will recommend this hotel to everybody.
The hotel has a terrace for all guests. Nice view. Located in the centre of Rapallo, everything is in walking distance, the beach, restaurants, Gelato all over - a must try when you visit Italy in general (not only the coast). Beautiful marina, very nice people, a lot of mopeds, Vespas,... traffic is very fast but no honking...
A hotel in a little piece of paradise on earth
Very nice hotel with great location
Visit the skybar in the sunset!
Nice breakfast eith really good cappucino
Stayed in the area for 3 days. This area is much nicer than cinque terre! Walk to Portofino an take a boatride back
The walk along the coast in Rapallo is very nice both in the morning and in the afternoon
Well-situated hotel for excursions in Liguria. The parking lot in front of the hotel is a great advantage and the train station for visiting Cinque Terre is on short walking distance. The hotel is old fashioned, but clean. Plenty of breakfasting/dining options in charming Rapallo.
