In the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park, The Lister Arms is a quintessential English pub and AA 4-star 18th-century inn, offering home-cooked food and cosy accommodation. We stayed in the converted barn part of the inn that is around the corner from the pub. It was really nice, high end, and recently renovated. There was a common room to hang out in too. We had great weather and were able to hang out in the garden but I think it would be really nice in the winter too since there is a fireplace. The pub had excellent food and the staff was great. We loved it and hope to go back.

We ate in the hotel for dinner, the menu was amazing and the quality of food even better. We could fault absolutely nothing at this hotel, thank you!

Amazing hotel and staff, located in the countryside, surounded by sheeps, we felt at home, staff is amazingly welcoming and organized, the atmosphere is great, the common areas very well maintained, we loved everything!

Grassington
Vi kom till Clarendon hotel på vår vandringssemester i Yorkshire dales. Mycket trevligt hotell, oväntat bra mat, det enda som drog ner betyget var att det var lite dåligt med folk, men å andra sidan var det 2 januari....

Great staff, we had a lovely chat with a chef who shared a bit of history of the place. Lovely dinner and breakfast and very comfy room. Dog friendly which is a big bonus and very important to us.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was extremely clean. We stayed in the carperby room and it was excellent. Brilliant power shower and a large bath, very comfortable bed. Evening meal and breakfast were superb. Would definitely recommend the hotel.

Friendly staff, good meals location
Loved the location and remoteness of the property, shame it was cloudy as I would imagine the stars are an incredible sight with zero light pollution. Stayed in a glamping pod which was very comfortable and excellent facilities inside.
Quiet, peaceful area. Hot tub was brilliant. Bed comfortable and great shower. Everything we needed was in the pod. Perfect for a little get away.
