In the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park, The Lister Arms is a quintessential English pub and AA 4-star 18th-century inn, offering home-cooked food and cosy accommodation. We very much enjoyed the homey atmosphere of the Lister Arms. The food was delicious, the included breakfast quite filling-perfect for a full day of hiking. We felt very spoiled by the king sized bed, and it was very appreciated for a restful night. We loved the hikes around Malham and not having to worry about driving or parking, so the location was excellent. The pub had 4 choices of non-alcoholic beer: for those who don't drink, that's a great and rare offering!

This 4-star hotel offers luggage storage space and free WiFi. 5 stars is not enough to describe our stay. All of the staff were extremely friendly. The rooms are done up to a very high standard, spotlessly clean. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was exceptional, there were so many choices at breakfast and staff remembered our preferences from the previous morning. We ate in the hotel for dinner, the menu was amazing and the quality of food even better. We could fault absolutely nothing at this hotel, thank you!

The Stone House Hotel is a classic Edwardian country house built in 1908, set in a stunning, secluded spot in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales near the town of Hawes. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The location was gorgeous. The service was excellent with very attentive and cheerful staff.

Great location in town . Lovely staff and friendly pub . It’s a very old building so a few quirks come with that . Lovely comfortable beds great tea and coffee and lovely bedding .
