In the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park, The Lister Arms is a quintessential English pub and AA 4-star 18th-century inn, offering home-cooked food and cosy accommodation. We stayed in the converted barn part of the inn that is around the corner from the pub. It was really nice, high end, and recently renovated. There was a common room to hang out in too. We had great weather and were able to hang out in the garden but I think it would be really nice in the winter too since there is a fireplace. The pub had excellent food and the staff was great. We loved it and hope to go back.

All of the staff were extremely friendly. The rooms are done up to a very high standard, spotlessly clean. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was exceptional, there were so many choices at breakfast and staff remembered our preferences from the previous morning. We ate in the hotel for dinner, the menu was amazing and the quality of food even better. We could fault absolutely nothing at this hotel, thank you!

Amazing hotel and staff, located in the countryside, surounded by sheeps, we felt at home, staff is amazingly welcoming and organized, the atmosphere is great, the common areas very well maintained, we loved everything!
