In the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park, The Lister Arms is a quintessential English pub and AA 4-star 18th-century inn, offering home-cooked food and cosy accommodation. We very much enjoyed the homey atmosphere of the Lister Arms. The food was delicious, the included breakfast quite filling-perfect for a full day of hiking. We felt very spoiled by the king sized bed, and it was very appreciated for a restful night. We loved the hikes around Malham and not having to worry about driving or parking, so the location was excellent. The pub had 4 choices of non-alcoholic beer: for those who don't drink, that's a great and rare offering!

Tolle Unterkunft in phantastischer Lage, sehr nette und hilfreiche Vermieter, Ausstattung top, alles sehr gemütlich. Settle ist auch ein entzückender Ort, idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen & Unternehmungen in den Yorkshire Dales und im (westlichen Teil des) Lake District. Wir haben uns jeden Tag gefreut, wieder ‚nach Hause‘ zu kommen.
Das Hotel liegt direkt gegenüber vom Bahnhof. Skipton eignet sich als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in den Yorkshire Dales. Das Hotel ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und das Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Frühstück ist fantastisch und auch das Abendessen war sehr gut. Würde es wieder buchen.

The Wheatsheaf Inn was amazing. Such friendly owners and staff. The rooms were very comfortable, and well set out. We ate an evening meal and a cooked breakfast and it was all a good quality. We would definitely stay again if in the area but being from New Zealand we may not be back.

I loved the quirky furnishings. We had a cancellation and booked here last minute .It was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Food in the restaurant was fantastic and again, very attentive staff , it was a lovely place to stay
