Port Charlotte Hotel is located in Port Charlotte on the shore of Loch Indaal. The conservatory and gardens open onto a sandy beach. Very comfortable, superb location, spotlessly clean. All the staff without exception were very friendly, helpful, and just the right level of attentive.

It was a perfect stay on Islay! Very friendly people there, perfect, well cooked scottish breakfast. Large, comfortable, clean and quit rooms. A bar is located direct to the hotel. You can take your drinks to the outside; there is a very nice resting area across the street. We loved it. A good starting point for cycling across Islay (better than car driving when visiting the distilleries). Thanks.

Everything was superb and an excellent value. The room has all the facilities of a top-notch bed and breakfast, staff (the MacLellans, all wonderful) was super attentive and a joy to talk to. The heated floor in the bathroom felt like a game-changer. This property is one of a few where we'd be compelled to return to the location just to stay here. Truly rates as a 15 (at least) on a 10-scale.

Featuring a fitness centre and a garden, Machrie Hotel & Golf Links is situated just outside Port Ellen. This 4-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. Such an amazing location with awesome views, and really friendly and helpful staff. Lots of lovely places to relax and appreciate the views, with a walk to the beach a must. The food was delicious, and so easy to explore the island from here. We loved our stay here!

Lochside Hotel is situated in Bowmore and features a terrace. Featuring luggage storage space, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. Free WiFi is available. The location was central to everything on Islay. The room was clean and comfortable with an amazing view. We loved our stay here.

The location is great. We needed a place in an emergency and they did everything we needed. The staff were funny and helpful.
