Port Charlotte Hotel is located in Port Charlotte on the shore of Loch Indaal. The conservatory and gardens open onto a sandy beach. Everything about the hotel was absolutely fantastic. The staff are friendly, the food is great. With Islay being relatively limited on food choices, it was good to know that the hotel had one of the best restaurants on the island.

Located in Port Ellen, No. 1 Charlotte Street has a garden, shared lounge, bar, and free WiFi. The rooms in the hotel are fitted with a coffee machine. - the rooms where super clean and comfy - there was a bathtub - the staff was polite and very supportive - the hot breakfast was servered fresh directly after ordering what you desire - threre was a good selection of coffee, tea, and juices - alternatively to the hot breakfast there was also cerial, toast, Croissants, and sweet spread (honey, jam, hazelnut)

Lochside hotel is situated in Bowmore and features a terrace. Featuring luggage storage space, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. Free WiFi is available. Friendly staff, clean room, really good food, nice view at the sea. Close to Bowmore distillery. Nothing to complain about.

The whole Islay flair is completely lived at the host Naill and that wholeheartedly. The people on Islay are very friendly and accommodating. Naill provided us with breakfast for a whole week when he heard about our late suitcase. Thank you so much for the great hospitality and time from the very honest islanders. Rooms were very clean, every little thing was fixed immediately. Naill was always immediately available and helpful. Our suitcase was delivered after 3 weeks at home.

Kilmeny's location may not be suitable for those guests without their own transport. Kilmeny is offering accommodation in Ballygrant. A perfect place! Very kind and caring staff. The location is amazing, an average of 20 min drive from the distilleries.
