Falta um elevador para acessar os quartos (o que é muito importante para idosos e pessoas com deficiência) porém compreendo que isso se deva ao estilo de hospedagem e preservação da arquitetura. O quarto é confortável porém quente no verão. Não tem frigobar no quarto, o que nos fez falta. Porém eles armazenaram nossos itens refrigerados. O café da manhã é excelente e tem opções veganas. Voltaria. Agradeço a equipe. Islay é sensacional!!!

The room has all the facilities of a top-notch bed and breakfast, staff (the MacLellans, all wonderful) was super attentive and a joy to talk to. The heated floor in the bathroom felt like a game-changer. This property is one of a few where we'd be compelled to return to the location just to stay here. Truly rates as a 15 (at least) on a 10-scale.

Our stay at Kilmeny was a great experience I will never forget! Margaret is the heart of this house, and she is an amazing host. Friendly, cheerful and always here to help, we were impressed by the care she put in every elements of our stay. On arrival, we were greeted with a delicious tea time (exquisite homemade cakes). Our room was spacious and delightfully decorated, the view was amazing and we enjoyed (a lot) the bathroom. A thorough guide/handbook was here to help us out as well: from how things worked in the room, to options for breakfast and all activities available on Islay. Margaret took the time to introduce us to other guests, and had lovely chats with everyone. We also met Blair on occasion at breakfast, and he was really helpful too. I cannot stress enough that Blair and Margaret are two fabulous hosts, and would absolutely recommend to stay at Kilmeny. Thank you for an incredible stay.
