The hotel is 600 metres from the First Cable Car Station and lies 100m above the centre of Grindelwald. Its rooms and sun terrace have magnificent views of the surrounding scenery. The location was beyond my imagination, my room on the third floor had the most beatiful view i have ever had in any room. the room was huge, with 3 bedrooms and a large living and dining area. the kitchen was very well equiped. The breakfast was also great with many options, lacking only a toaster.

Floden framför hotellet och träbron över den gillade alla i gruppen, kyrkklockorna var det dock delade meningar om. God frukost. Prisvärt. Bra utgångspunkt för utflykter i Jungfrau-området.

Perfect location, just in front of Staubbachfall . We had a beautiful view of the waterfall from the window of our room. It has a very nice convenient store with everything that you might need and a common kitchen where you can cook your own food but if you don't want to, they also have a fantastic restaurant where you can enjoy a tasty Rösti and Swiss fondue! Staff is also very helpfull.

Beds were comfy, room had chairs and table. Great balcony /terrace. Breakfast was fine but was better on our last visit in 2016.
We absolutely loved the property. It is completely beautiful, rooms are perfect, very clean, the complimentary breakfast was excellent and Tatiana was great. The location is great. Very close to Interlaken (6 minutes on a free bus) and free parking. It is a quiet spot, which can be really lovely after a busy day sight seeing. Peter was an exceptional host, really made an effort and made you feel at home. Would definitely recommend.
the view!!! it was best best room view ever we had before!!! we had corner room and both windows had mountains view. it is magic to wake up in morning and see mountains. hotel is clean and stuff is very helpfull
This hotel has amazing staff and a fantastic location. Our room was very comfortable with a beautiful view. The narrow road leading up there is not too difficult (not too steep, not precipitous), but there can be many bikers coming in the opposite direction as the road is not really used by cars - in this case you might need to stop and re-start uphill. But the location is totally worth the effort, as the views are fantastic and it is farther (cca 10 minutes) from the hustle and bustle of Grindelwald. There are a lot of hiking trails in the area and the First is only a short gondola-ride away from here, so we could have spent much more time exploring. Their restaurant is really good too! Awesome place, one of my favourite stays ever.
The staff amazing, the location couldn't be better, super close to public transportation, good breakfast, and the view of Lake Brienz from room 230 is breathtaking!
Every thing was just amazing, to a point where in decided to expand my vacation , how ever the hotel was fully booked, and they manage to extend 1 night only .
