Abandoned by our driver into the blizzard and unknown, we called the hotel to ask where they are. We were answered "At your disposal." This minute the spokesperson 'Panagiotis' appeared, to find my white AirPod buried under a meter of snow, and carry our heavy luggage up the steep slope to the hotel. There, we had a re-welcome drink, perfected with humor and brilliant advice. We paid CHF 1140/night, and enjoyed the value. The 'two bedroom suite' offers privacies, yard with hanging wooden cocoon chairs, and balcony with panorama view.

This family-owned hotel is quietly situated in Interlaken, 200 metres from the Interlaken West Station. Free Wi-Fi access and free parking are offered. Close to the train, easy to get there with our luggage, hostess was kind and provided clear information about the must see points, the room was clean and well equipped. Breakfast was great. It was a good place.

Az 1890-es években épült Hotel Staubbach történelmi szálloda, mely az elsők egyike volt Lauterbrunnenben. We loved our stay! We stayed in 4 different hotels during our Swiss trip and this one was by far the best even if it wasn’t the most expensive. Staff was very friendly - they upgraded our room and provided baby bed for free. The view from the room is incredible (we had mountains but there is a free access to the balcony on the third floor if you want to take pics of the waterfall). Location was perfect. Parking is very specious. Breakfast was great and the mood in the restaurant is very relaxed. They also have a tea/coffee available for free the whole day and a playgroup corner for kids. You can find a booklet with the information about the area/things to do and hiking routes in the room that we found very interesting and useful!
