Arai Villa Myoko ligger i Myoko, 47 km från Zenkō-ji tempel, 49 km från Nagano station och 23 km från Nojirisjön. The house was spacious and comfortably furnished. The beds were very comfortable with high quality linen. The villa is close to Lotte Arai resort (about 5 minute drive) and the managers of the villa were extremely helpful in arranging transport for our group with a neighbour, who was charming and helpful. The manager also arranged dinner for us at a local restaurant which usually only offers lunch and this was a very special experience for us. The drying room was excellent for our ski gear. From the house are views of the surrounding rice fields and up to the mountains.

The room was super clean, warm, and the bed was really comfortable. Good reliable WiFi throughout the lodge, and if you're a skier or snowboarder the drying room downstairs is perfect for storing your gear. The location is lovely and scenic but only a short drive to plenty of places to eat, the train station, and the various snow resorts; transfers to the resorts were easy to organise, and a few of the closer ones are offered free of charge (the further ones cost but are very reasonable). The traditional bath they have available is also incredible for a soak after a big day on the mountain! Chereyne and Brett are fantastic hosts with a wealth of knowledge about the area, very welcoming and happy to help with things like train station pickups, making local dinner reservations, making resort recommendations etc. They were also super accommodating of my dietary requirements (vegan) for all meals we ate at the lodge - amazing cooked breakfasts with continental options available too, and beautiful traditional barbeque dinners (they alternate with more western style meals and it's up to you which you want to eat in/out for). Myoko is a beautiful spot with some amazing snow to be enjoyed and it's super accessible from Tokyo, would absolutely recommend this place and hope we get the opportunity to come back!

Drifter Myoko ligger i Myoko, 29 km från Zenkō-ji tempel och 31 km från Nagano station, och har bergsutsikt och gratis WiFi. Amy and Chris are very lovely and helpful, the house is located on the slope and not far from the village, and the food they propose (incl. breakfast) is delicious.

Conveniently located a 4-minute walk from Akakura Onsen Ski Resort and a 4-minute walk from the bus terminal, Hunter Lodge offers free WiFi throughout the property and free luggage storage service. The staff was very kind. Breakfast was delicious every morning. Room was clean and well appointed.

Located in Akakura Onsen village and central to Myoko Ski Resorts, Myoko Ski Lodge in Akakura Village boasts beautiful views over the valley and free WiFi is provided. Wonderful Host couple... Amazing hospitality and wonderful facilities. Great singing as well

Myoko Mountain Lodge ligger bara 650 meter från skidorten Akakura Kanko och 5 minuters bilresa från skidorten Akakura Onsen. Här erbjuds mysiga rum med gratis WiFi och gratis parkering. Wonderful hosts, great accomodation and nice food. Super nice stay.

Kagura White Horse Inn ligger i Yuzawa, knappt 100 meter från skidorten Kagura. Här erbjuds ett gemensamt kök och en lounge. Här erbjuds gratis WiFi och kostnadsfri gästparkering. Perfect location if you’re planning multiple days at Kagura.

Pension Moomin Papa ligger i Myoko, 31 km från Zenkō-ji tempel och 33 km från Nagano station, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi, luftkonditionering, en trädgård och en gemensam lounge. Pension Moomin Papa is a very cute and cosy home from home. It was very warm with lovely underfloor heating, clean and tidy. You can order home cooked breakfast and dinner. The other travellers were nice and friendly. I loved my stay here!

Belle Vue Nishiura ligger i Minami Uonuma i Niigata-regionen, 3 minuters promenad från skidorten Ishiuchi-Maruyama. Här erbjuds skidförvaring och möjlighet att åka skidor ända fram till dörren. Second time we stay here. The owners are very helpful as always. Breakfast is good and very close to Ishiuichi resort, 5 mins walk.
