Arai Villa Myoko is located in Myoko, 47 km from Zenkoji Temple, 49 km from Nagano Station, as well as 23 km from Lake Nojiri. The house was spacious and comfortably furnished. The beds were very comfortable with high quality linen. The villa is close to Lotte Arai resort (about 5 minute drive) and the managers of the villa were extremely helpful in arranging transport for our group with a neighbour, who was charming and helpful. The manager also arranged dinner for us at a local restaurant which usually only offers lunch and this was a very special experience for us. The drying room was excellent for our ski gear. From the house are views of the surrounding rice fields and up to the mountains.

Located in Myoko, Myoko Forest Lodge provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a shared lounge and a bar. The lodge is super cozy, warm and in a silent place. The food is great (And also the coffee!).The owners are lovely and welcoming, the general atmosphere made our days ;)

Located 32 km from Zenkoji Temple, Myoko House provides accommodation with a restaurant, a bar and a shared kitchen for your convenience. Nathan and Akiko were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay a lot, it was quite close to Tsubame Onsen which we came to visit. The nature was stunning so we could stroll around.

Situated in Myoko, 29 km from Zenkoji Temple and 31 km from Nagano Station, Drifter Myoko features mountain views and free WiFi. Amy and Chris are very lovely and helpful, the house is located on the slope and not far from the village, and the food they propose (incl. breakfast) is delicious.

The family that runs the hotel and restaurant are the kindest, most helpful people we have ever met. We were constantly greeted by smiles, asked if we needed help, and our kids were even given gifts when we left.

Located in Akakura Onsen village and central to Myoko Ski Resorts, Myoko Ski Lodge in Akakura Village boasts beautiful views over the valley and free WiFi is provided. Wonderful Host couple... Amazing hospitality and wonderful facilities. Great singing as well

Located only 650 metres from Akakura Kanko Ski Resort and a 5-minute drive from Akakura Onsen Ski Resort, Myoko Mountain Lodge offers cosy rooms with free WiFi and free on-site parking. Wonderful hosts, great accomodation and nice food. Super nice stay.

Boasting a shared kitchen and lounge, Kagura White Horse Inn is located in Yuzawa, within 100 m of Kagura Ski Resort Mitsumata Station. This lodge offers free WiFi and free private parking on site. The property was clean and cozy. Staff were really welcoming and helpful. The location of the property in conjunction to the ski lift was very ideal as well.

Situated in Myoko, 31 km from Zenkoji Temple and 33 km from Nagano Station, Pension Moomin Papa features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a garden and a shared lounge. Pension Moomin Papa is a very cute and cosy home from home. It was very warm with lovely underfloor heating, clean and tidy. You can order home cooked breakfast and dinner. The other travellers were nice and friendly. I loved my stay here!

Offering ski-to-door access and ski storage space, Belle Vue Nishiura is located in Minami Uonuma in the Niigata Region, a 3-minute walk from Ishiuchi-Maruyama Ski Resort. The owner was the kindest person I have ever met. We went to this hotel with a small group of friends as we were participating in a spartan race taking place in the vicinity. The owner offered to give us a free shuttle service to go from the Echigo yuzawa station to the hotel upon arrival (for both groups that arrived at a different time), as well as from the hotel to the spartan race location and back the next day. He also allowed us to come back to the hotel to have a shower after the race, after our check-out time and free of charge. He finally also gave a ride to the station again. This was a life saver given the state we were in after the race. This is probably the best service I've ever seen in my life. The room was a nice Japanese style room for 3 people, with shared bathrooms for the floor, but there are enough stalls that this is absolutely not a problem. All in all, I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in a cozy little room and just to meet the amazing person the owner is.
