Offering ski-to-door access and ski storage space, Belle Vue Nishiura is located in Minami Uonuma in the Niigata Region, a 3-minute walk from Ishiuchi-Maruyama Ski Resort. Futon on tatami is at acceptable thickness, so we consider it comfortable. Toilets available every floor, 2 public bathrooms and hot bath located at ground floor, sometimes might need to queue if happen to be full booking that day. Breakfast and dinner available upon request. 5 minutes walk to ski lift, Satoshi-San pick up and fetch us to train station. Will be back on next ski season probably.

Arai Villa Myoko is located in Myoko, 47 km from Zenkoji Temple, 49 km from Nagano Station, as well as 23 km from Lake Nojiri. The house was spacious and comfortably furnished. The beds were very comfortable with high quality linen. The villa is close to Lotte Arai resort (about 5 minute drive) and the managers of the villa were extremely helpful in arranging transport for our group with a neighbour, who was charming and helpful. The manager also arranged dinner for us at a local restaurant which usually only offers lunch and this was a very special experience for us. The drying room was excellent for our ski gear. From the house are views of the surrounding rice fields and up to the mountains.

Located in Myoko, Myoko Forest Lodge provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a shared lounge and a bar. The hosts Chereyne & Brett could not do enough to ensure we had the best time.

Located 32 km from Zenkoji Temple, Myoko House provides accommodation with a restaurant, a bar and a shared kitchen for your convenience. Nathan and Akiko were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay a lot, it was quite close to Tsubame Onsen which we came to visit. The nature was stunning so we could stroll around.

Situated in Myoko, Drifter Myoko features mountain views and free WiFi, 29 km from Zenkoji Temple and 31 km from Nagano Station. Amy and Chris are very lovely and helpful, the house is located on the slope and not far from the village, and the food they propose (incl. breakfast) is delicious.

Conveniently located a 4-minute walk from Akakura Onsen Ski Resort and a 4-minute walk from the bus terminal, Hunter Lodge offers free WiFi throughout the property and free luggage storage service. The family that runs the hotel and restaurant are the kindest, most helpful people we have ever met. We were constantly greeted by smiles, asked if we needed help, and our kids were even given gifts when we left.

Located in Akakura Onsen village and central to Myoko Ski Resorts, Myoko Ski Lodge in Akakura Village boasts beautiful views over the valley and free WiFi is provided. It’s a happy place! Geoff and Tania ensured that we were well taken care of throughout the stay! They tried their best to pick us up from the train station even though there was a heavy snowfall on the night we arrived. All staffs were kind and friendly. Others who lived at the lodge were also very nice and sociable. I’m really glad to meet new friends from different parts of the world. Started the day with breakfast prepared by the team, then went snowboarding — ask Geoff to recommend ski areas if you’re unsure! Get into the onsen after a whole day of snow then head out to the village (about 7min walk) for dinner after — similarly, if you’re unsure where to eat, ask! Hang out at the common area to chill, chat, watch a movie, play games with affordable beers etc! Maximise your time here if you can! We were really sad to leave and wanted to stay an extra day.. ): till next time! Super clean - room / shared areas / toilet / washing facilities Spacious and comfortable room Fast and reliable WiFi Wonderful food Amazing owners! I was at a cycle event and breakfast was prepared for me at 5am to accommodate an early start. Then a lovely hot dinner in the evening.

Boasting a shared kitchen and lounge, Kagura White Horse Inn is located in Yuzawa, within 100 m of Kagura Ski Resort Mitsumata Station. This lodge offers free WiFi and free private parking on site. Great location to Kagura ski resort. 150 meters down the road.

Offering mountain views, Morino Lodge - Myoko in Myoko offers accommodation, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. The staff are awesome, make you feel at home and the entire vibe of the place is really relaxed. Big shout out to Dougie and the whole crew (sorry I didn't get everyone's names but they all remembered mine =)). The bartenders make great drinks, the drinks are priced really well (it's always happy hour), and the breakfast is solid every morning. The other facilities here are great for skiers/boarders. The dry room and waxing stations have everything and plenty of room for many guests. And a soak in their onsen was great every evening after ripping the slopes.
