Arai Villa Myoko is located in Myoko, 47 km from Zenkoji Temple, 49 km from Nagano Station, as well as 23 km from Lake Nojiri. The house was spacious and comfortably furnished. The beds were very comfortable with high quality linen. The villa is close to Lotte Arai resort (about 5 minute drive) and the managers of the villa were extremely helpful in arranging transport for our group with a neighbour, who was charming and helpful. The manager also arranged dinner for us at a local restaurant which usually only offers lunch and this was a very special experience for us. The drying room was excellent for our ski gear. From the house are views of the surrounding rice fields and up to the mountains.

Located in Myoko, Myoko Forest Lodge provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a shared lounge and a bar. Amazing vibe and fantastic people. Great food and social atmosphere for guests. Very quiet and laid back, perfect spot if you're looking to hit the slopes all day and get a good night's rest. Transfers to and from the hills are absolutely mint. Thanks Myoko team, I'll be back next year!

Located 32 km from Zenkoji Temple, Myoko House provides accommodation with a restaurant, a bar and a shared kitchen for your convenience. Nathan and his team were phenomenal hosts. Absolutely key to have knowledgeable folks like them. Recommendations on ski spots, nightlife, and any other things that popped up were all spot on from the Myoko House team. Excellent location near to the Akakura slopes and central to some of the other ones in Myoko.

Situated in Myoko, 29 km from Zenkoji Temple and 31 km from Nagano Station, Drifter Myoko features mountain views and free WiFi. The lodge offers a buffet or continental breakfast. Amy and Chris are very lovely and helpful, the house is located on the slope and not far from the village, and the food they propose (incl. breakfast) is delicious.

Situated in Myoko, Myoko Ski Lodge in Akakura Village features mountain views and free WiFi, 34 km from Zenkoji Temple and 36 km from Nagano Station. The lodge offers a buffet or continental... It’s a happy place! Geoff and Tania ensured that we were well taken care of throughout the stay! They tried their best to pick us up from the train station even though there was a heavy snowfall on the night we arrived. All staffs were kind and friendly. Others who lived at the lodge were also very nice and sociable. I’m really glad to meet new friends from different parts of the world. Started the day with breakfast prepared by the team, then went snowboarding — ask Geoff to recommend ski areas if you’re unsure! Get into the onsen after a whole day of snow then head out to the village (about 7min walk) for dinner after — similarly, if you’re unsure where to eat, ask! Hang out at the common area to chill, chat, watch a movie, play games with affordable beers etc! Maximise your time here if you can! We were really sad to leave and wanted to stay an extra day.. ): till next time! Boasting a shared kitchen and lounge, Kagura White Horse Inn is located in Yuzawa, within 100 m of Kagura Ski Resort Mitsumata Station. This lodge offers free WiFi and free private parking on site. Owner and staff are all unbelievably friendly, they provide all kinds of help for various situations.

Situated in Myoko, 31 km from Zenkoji Temple and 33 km from Nagano Station, Pension Moomin Papa features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a garden and a shared lounge. Pension Moomin Papa is a very cute and cosy home from home. It was very warm with lovely underfloor heating, clean and tidy. You can order home cooked breakfast and dinner. The other travellers were nice and friendly. I loved my stay here!

Offering ski-to-door access and ski storage space, Belle Vue Nishiura is located in Minami Uonuma in the Niigata Region, a 3-minute walk from Ishiuchi-Maruyama Ski Resort. One of the best stay in Japan. The host was amazingly welcoming and helpful prior to arrival and during our stay. Location is amazing and 3min walk from ski lift but owner also helped us doing free shuttle when needed to go to Gala ski resort.
