The property was beautiful and the very friendly staff did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. The two friendly dogs were good company.

The rooms are spread out over the delightfully landscaped grounds in separate lovely cottages. Everything is very tasteful and stylish. The owner, Pilar, and her team Danni, Fanni, Julia and José, made our stay relaxing, comfortable and memorable. Their genuine warmth and ready willingnes to help us was greatly appreciated and touched our hearts. The meals were delicious, wholesome, beautifully presented and sometimes created especially for our needs.

Offering a private beach area, Playa Pikua Ecolodge is a solar-powered property situated in Guachaca between two rivers and the Caribbean sea. We were here on our honeymoon and it was perfect. Amazing place in a grate location. Wonderful staff, wonderful service, simply the best romantic getaway. The best bed anyone can hope to get outside of your own home.

It is in a quiet area with so many birds around and within walking distance to Pozo Azul and Casacada Perdida/Escondida. Large terrace with hammocks to watch the beautiful sunsets.
