Located in Castleton, 16 km from Buxton Opera House, Bulls Head, Castleton provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Check in was easy and staff actually took us to our room. There are only 5 rooms and nobody was noisy. The pub has excellent food and many people who were eating at dogs which were all well behaved. The bathrooms are remodeled, and breakfast is brought to your room. Good parking behind the Bull's Head.

The food was absolutely fantastic. Dinner especially was of a very high standard and was honestly one of the best meals that I've ever eaten. Breakfast too was of a very high standard. Our room was large and comfortable and the bathroom equally so.

The staff were excellent from arriving to leaving. The room was well appointed, ample parking, great food and in a quiet out of the way location. There is no lift however staff assisted with carrying the suitcases upstairs.

Situato a circa 19 km da Sheffield, nel cuore del Peak District, il Plough Inn di Hathersage è una locanda del 16° secolo nel Derbyshire. This hotel was excellent! It's quite expensive, but I stayed here for a backpacking trip around the peak district. The staff was accommodating to what I was here for, they were very excited for me and took great care of everything. The room is as you would expect, the bed was acceptable, pillows are always questionable in hotels, and the bathroom was excellent. I can't justify fully the cost that it was, but in the area, this was the best option due to the price and the fact that the hiking trail started just in front of the pub. Their food was excellent as well, I had lunch after I finished and the staff was as helpful and even asked me how the hike and camping went. If I have hiking trails in the vicinity again I'd stay here for sure.
