Well run pub with nicely decorated rooms. Comfortable bed. Very friendly staff and manager. Proper pub food in a nice restaurant room and local busy bar next to it. Very good atmosphere overall.

The Barrel Inn is a wonderful find. Interesting historic building beautifully maintained and decorated. Lovely warm welcome from the friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food and a very comfortable and warm room. Altogether fully recommended.

Pack Horse Inn - New Mills se nachází v destinaci Mellor a poskytuje pokoje s bezplatným Wi-Fi. Jen 18 km odtud se nachází Buxton Opera House a Fletcher Moss Botanical Gardens je 20 km daleko. Lovely room and big super king bed, very comfy. Very welcoming and helpful waitress on arrival and for breakfast. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice and freshly cooked.

Charming and comfy and excellent food, couldn’t ask for a more lovely couple of days. We even walked to Chatsworth for the day, stopping to converse with the “locals” (sheep) Simply a Lovely place to stay.
