Food in the pub was fabulous we ate there both nights and there was a great and varied selection on the menu. Room was very comfortable and very clean and toiletries smelt amazing! Already looking to book again!

The people were just lovely and most helpful. The room clean and comfortable. We had light breakfasts but there was a variety and the cooked breakfasts looked good as well. The food in the pub was good, home cooked and again a variety to choose from. Would stay there again.

Exceptional location. Very near to the Mamtor hike. Rooms size are big with super king size bed. Their restaurant is usually busy, make sure to book your seat for dinner as you won't get much options nearby. Beer collection is amazing.

Interesting historic building beautifully maintained and decorated. Lovely warm welcome from the friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food and a very comfortable and warm room. Altogether fully recommended.

Located in Mellor and with Buxton Opera House reachable within 18 km, Pack Horse Inn provides a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. We have stayed before and when we had to head north for a funeral I didn’t think twice about where to stay. It’s comfy and homely.

The staff were excellent from arriving to leaving. The room was well appointed, ample parking, great food and in a quiet out of the way location. There is no lift however staff assisted with carrying the suitcases upstairs.

Devonshire Arms at Pilsley - Chatsworth is located on the Chatsworth Estate, which is owned by the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The room was beautiful, bed was so comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and newly renovated. Beautifully decorated. They were very accommodating with our dogs. Staff was wonderful and the breakfast options were beautiful (we had chose the smoked salmon breakfast and the full english)…. But OMG - the evening meals were DELICIOUS. Excellently prepared by an incredible chef. Fresh ingredients and flavours were amazing! We both had starters, that were gorgeous, I had the fish of the day main and my partner had lamb. We finished with dessert that was perfection! Definitely coming back every year! And plan to sneak back for some meals too since fortunately, we do not live to far away!

Around 12 miles from Sheffield, in the heart of the Peak District, The Plough Inn in Hathersage is a 16th-century inn in Derbyshire. It has a cosy bar and restaurant and offers free parking and Wi-Fi.... Very comfortable room and spacious new bathroom we're just right for our small family. Lunch selections were excellent and breakfast very good. The owner was very hospitable and generously offered to drive us into town when we had trouble securing a taxi.
