Set in Lanchester, 15 km from Beamish Museum, The Royal Oak offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. We also ate there during the evening. The choice on the menu was great as were the meals! The bedroom was a fabulous size and the bathroom looked newly renovated, but get those towel hooks up Ian 😁. The staff were amazing and very helpful as were the hosts. We'd definitely return if we are in the area.

The staff was very friendly. Location is close to the train station which is nice. Breakfast was excellent. The decor in the place is very cozy, perfect for the winter.

Located in Durham, within 20 km of Beamish Museum and 24 km of Stadium of Light, Victoria inn provides accommodation with a bar and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free private parking... Lovely stay right between the city center and Durham university. Rooms were really cosy. They don't serve breakfast. But Durham is small and cafes are in walking distance.

The Manor House Inn ligger i Shotley Bridge, med Beamish Museum bare 23 kilometer unna. Overnattingsstedet har en hage, allergikervennlige rom, gratis WiFi og en bar. Staff were amazing. We had a great afternoon and evening at the inn. The Sunday roast was the best we have had in the UK. The room was spacious, spotless and tastefully decorated. We stopped on the way from Edinburgh for an overnight stop. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

Situated in Middleton in Teesdale, Forresters Bar & French Restaurant with Rooms has a terrace, bar and free WiFi. There is a restaurant serving French cuisine, and free private parking is available. All of it, we've stayed a few times now and love it
