The bedroom was a fabulous size and the bathroom looked newly renovated, but get those towel hooks up Ian 😁. The staff were amazing and very helpful as were the hosts. We'd definitely return if we are in the area.

Had character , spotless , all you could want and more in the room ! Excellent breakfast , friendly staff , fab location

The Kingslodge Inn - The Inn Collection Group offers a cosy bar, a restaurant and easy access to Durham city centre. There is free parking on-site. Great location by a forest area. Very good restaurant with lovely pub atmosphere. ( no other eating places nearby) Friendly staff and nice garden bar too.

Victoria inn er staðsett í Durham, í innan við 20 km fjarlægð frá Beamish Museum og 24 km frá Stadium of Light. Lovely stay right between the city center and Durham university. Rooms were really cosy. They don't serve breakfast. But Durham is small and cafes are in walking distance.

A family run business who make you feel warm and welcome from the time you book until you leave. The location is perfect as a base for exploring the local area. I feel I have to mention the very high standard of food. Its not the run of the mill bar food here. Its food fitting of a Manor house. I only wish we had stayed longer to try everything on the menu. All very reasonably priced as well. Real ale behind the bar and an open log fire. Large selection of drinks and food all day and the breakfast was spot on. Whether you are looking for a place to stay or after a meal with a proper local feel then you won't be let down if you give the Manor House a try. Well worth a visit.

Forresters Bar & French Restaurant with Rooms er staðsett í Middleton í Teesdale og býður upp á verönd, bar og ókeypis WiFi. Lovely location. Ended up having a good few drinks with the staff and locals. The food was excellent (although they don't serve food on Mondays and Tuesdays) we even filled two flasks of their soup to take away with us.
