Offering views of the Sierra, Mundo Nuevo Eco Lodge ( 2.2 km and 400 meters uphill Minca) is set in an organic farm with a vegetarian restaurant (one menu) with mainly dishes with fruits and vegetable... We had a wonderful stay at mundo Nuevo and would defiantly recommend and love to come back. The staff was ever so kind and the views are amazing.

Hostal Paraíso Tayrona Kogui ligger i Santa Marta, 8 minuters promenad från Playa Castilletes och 36 km från Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino. if you want to stay in a secluded area surrounded by nature, entertained by wildlife and led on exhilarating walks/hikes this is the place. With macaws flying over head, howler monkeys calling in the morning, capuchin monkeys flying through the trees and a sleeping sloth over the path await you but you have to earn it! A not to be missed highlight is the early morning hike to the Mirador- it's stunning! The trail to get here can be demanding but Sebastian or Jose will help you and it will be worth your effort.

Mirador Playa Cristal Tayrona ligger i Santa Marta och har en trädgård, en egen strand, en terrass och en restaurang. Boendet ligger inom 17 minuters promenad från Playa Neguanje och har en bar. First of all: This place does exist! I wasn't super confident until we arrived since I could only find evidence of it on Booking, but it is real! Absolutely beautiful location. Feels very special and Naydu and Ivan made sure we had everything we needed to really enjoy our time there. The food is GREAT (eat every meal at Mirador and NOT down by the beach where it is bad, more expensive, and most likely gave me food poisoning). I sadly came down with food poisoning before I could eat anything at the restaurant (I was already vomiting before I ate or drank anything here). I sadly had to sit and watch my boyfriend eat his amazing-looking food while I just drank lots of water and juice. We brought our own snorkeling gear, but there is a place to rent them at the beach as well. Being able to walk down to the beach and snorkel through the reefs was amazing. Beautiful water with great visibility. When I felt better the second night we went out on a sunset boat ride and snorkel with Ivan and Naydu and it was a great way to really take in the location. I think this place attracts people with a sense of adventure and we joined together for dinner one night with the other people staying (either in tents or the other room) and had a wonderful time learning about other cultures and their travel adventures.

I feel so fortunate to have stayed in Jorge's cabana next to the river near Tayrona. When I stayed, he was just starting his business so he only had one cabana open to guests. -His customer service is professional & friendly. -Spacious cabana with a front deck overlooking the river. You are so close you can hear the river below you! -Breakfast included was substantial & tasty -Highly recommend homemade dinner upon request for a very affordable price -Small tienda a few minutes away to buy water & other essentials -Less than 5 minutes walk from the main road but you don't hear about traffic. Ask the bus driver to drop you off at Trompito stop (Km 29). You rarely wait more than 10 minutes for buses that go back & forth between Santa Marta & Palomino to get to Tayrona or any number of nearby beaches. -Cabana has both aircon and fan, plus a fridge -Dozens of humingbirds flying every morning and sundown in front of your front deck and near the main house -Comfortable hammock to chill on the front deck -Private bathroom (shower water pressure is light and room temperature) You won't regret staying at Casa Kwalama! You get to support a great Colombian host while enjoying the sound of nature around you.

Coffee House Minca ligger i Minca och har en utomhuspool, en trädgård, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. Very well located. Charming hotel. The room looked like the pictures. Good breakfast. Attentive staff.

Ecohotel Yachay Tayrona dentro del Parque Tayrona ligger i Tayrona Park, 33 km från Santa Marta, och har en terrass och utsikt över bergen. Hotellet har en gourmetrestaurang. It was great. Very clean, helpful staff, all the amenities you would like for your stay. Especially the location. It is located IN the park, about 20 minutes from the entrance. You have to pay the park fee (50,000 COP entrance + 6,000 COP insurance per day you are staying overnight) but then you are in the park and don’t have to worry about paying again, queuing up for tickets, etc.

Deep Forest Posadas Ecoturisticas ligger i El Zaino, 3 km från Playa Castilletes, och har en trädgård, terrass och utsikt över floden. 1. Clean. 2. Can hear nature. Nice to lay in the hammock. 3. Best WiFi I had in Colombia.
