Offering views of the Sierra, Mundo Nuevo Eco Lodge ( 2.2 km and 400 meters uphill Minca) is set in an organic farm with a vegetarian restaurant (one menu) with mainly dishes with fruits and vegetable... What an amazing place!! It’s a frikking challenge to get there, but it’s worth it. You need to take a private 4x4 from Minca for 25$us or sit on the back of a motorbike to get there. You can’t drive your own car. Once there, fan only rooms(but it’s colder in the hills) middle of the jungle, great pool, vegetarian only food served for 5$us per day. Go walking at dawn to see local toucans. Go to the coffee/chocolate tour 20min walk. Life is good. Lovely people.

Set on the El Camellón seafront boulevard just 40 metres from Taganga Beach, Casa D'mer Taganga features a garden and 2 terraces overlooking Taganga Bay. Each room has a private bathroom with a... It was exactly as described and better. Super relaxing. The 2nd floor deck/terrace is so comfortable with chairs tables, rocking chairs a couple of hammocks and even a couple of BBQs if you fancy buying fish from the fisherman maybe 100meters away. Will definitely return. Oh, we got the base room no a/c but with 2 stand up type fans. Slept well. Quite.

The garden is magic and we were allowed to pick fruits out of it for eating. We could also use the kitchen sometimes. The place is very peaceful and close to the beach and the river. The street is a little bit noisy but all the animal sounds let it go in the background. The breakfast was amazing! We did a walk with señor Robinson and he explained us a few things about Tayrona and the surroundings. A nice view into the real Columbian life. Thanks for everything!

Inside Tayrona Park, 33 km from Santa Marta, Ecohotel Yachay Tayrona dentro del Parque Tayrona features a terrace and views of the mountain. Guests can enjoy the gourmet restaurant. Food was delicious! Place is beautiful and Dairo the host was very accommodating, professional and friendly. The whole staff were great! We loved our staying and we added this place in our list to come back!!
