This place is magic, made even more magic by the incredible hosts (now friends). The grounds are beautiful, you fall asleep in the jungle listening to the crashing waves of the ocean and the croak of frogs. I've seen wildcats, peacocks, monkeys, and lizards while I read a book in the hammock. I've made breakfast and coffee in the kitchen while working remotely. I've watched the sunset over the ocean from my bed. I've showered in the open air under the forest canopy. This is now one of my favourite places that I've ever stayed in- don't hesitate to be well by booking the hidden well.

They contribute a lot to the local community, one day they went making food-packages for the poor. Location is perfect to surf on jungle beach, but still close to welligama. The host help you with everything. And the breakfast is amazing!

Thilina took nicely care of my stay, his dog Summer is magic part of the house atmosphère. I definitly recommand this hostel for the chill, the beauty and confort. Thilina can give you access to the pool of a stunning resort and Samith, his friend, got the best surf school of the beach. Guys, thank you for the mood. All the best 🌞

At the accommodation rooms come with bed linen and towels. A big thank you to Renan & Rachele for making my stay unforgettable! I will always remember their kindness and most warm welcome! I am sure it would not have been the same experience if they haden’t been there, even though the beach house is amazing! Everything from the room, to day-to-day life was perfect thanks to the both of them. They were always available if needed and ready to help in any way (fixing things around the beach house, giving recommendations to surf, cleaning and making the beach house look nice etc.) If I could I would travel to all the places around the world where Renan & Rachele volunteer to manage! Great location, magical view, simple life :)

The hostel is 5 mins walk from dikwella and 5 mins walk from hiriketiya beach, but still nice and peaceful. The beds were comfy and everyone had a fan which was lovely. They have a washing machine you can use for 500rupee and a kitchen if you’d like to prepare your own food. We loved this hostel!

The property is set 1.7 km from Dickwella Beach, 2.6 km from Kudawella Beach and 5.8 km from Hummanaya Blow Hole. Tangalle Lagoon is 16 km away and Mulkirigala Rock Monastery is 16 km from the hostel. Bappa's was incredible! We booked 2 nights, but ended up staying for 4 more days. The location is just removed from the beach in a quieter area, an easy walk. The rooms/ bathrooms and kitchen were so clean and comfortable! Some of the comfiest beds I have found in a hostel. The staff was great, helping us book the extra nights and do our laundry with ease. The yard had a bunch of different chairs to sit in while enjoying morning coffee.

Nice clean and cool rooms. The location is great and Dominic is very helpful! The food at the Restaurant is delicious😜 Can highly recommend to stay here :)

The nearest airport is Koggala, 15 km from the hostel, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. This place had everything I needed and more - kitchen access, coworking space, on-site restaurant, great wifi, and helpful staff. Made myself right at home here for a good two weeks.
