Finally a real backpacker vibe in SL! This place was awesome!! Clean, cozy, great common areas and a share kitchen. Perfectly located between busy Weligama and hip Ahangama. Surfers converge in this small, quaint town to give it life without overbearing it. The hostel was quiet at night and had a nice coffee machine set up for the mornings. Staff is very friendly! Don't skip this place!! It recently opened and is about to become the best place in town. I extended my stay and wish I didn't have to leave. Thanks Max!

The room was big and the bed and pillows were super comfy. The aircon and fan were excellent and needed in the 35 degree heat. Walking distance to everything and lots of group activities organised which I really enjoyed. Yoga every morning was a highlight. The pool was also lovely to hang out in and around. Pretty quiet at night and in the mornings.

Nice and different room with a semi-outside shower. Cool concept. There is now a mosquito net and we didn't have any issues with mosquitos. Great location close to Jungle Beach. Nice garden with places to sit.

Incredibly amazing staff. I felt like they really cared for me and that they would take care of me no matter what I needed. The community there was amazing as well. Very friendly travelers, lots of great activities from open mics to ping pong tournaments to board game nights. Great location near some solid surf. Comfortable queen beds in the dorms! Amazing pizza and even a projector room where we had cozy movie nights!

The view really is special and it's nice being away from the main road.

As a slow traveller I prefer places like Beachbums over hostels. This place exceeded all my expectations. The whole house is really clean. Really liked the vibe of the rooms and the washrooms. Cozy and comfy beds with mosquito nets. The host is extremely sweet and will go above and beyond to accommodate you.

Very good placw to stay.Really cloce by the all sites I have been planning to visit.Host is very helpful and informative.Placeis very clean and ACs working really good ad have good water pressure in all showers and toilet.They have surf board rack outside and do not need to worry about it and feel safe.
They have kitchen facility in first floor and WiFI is fast.I visit here for only one day and now I'm planning to extend my stay another week.

Loved this place! The room was great, clean and comfortable. Beautiful garden view from the terrace! They family is so sweet and welcoming and I felt very much safe and at home. Cute dogs and great location. All my recommendations to coconut grove.

The fan in the room was very noisy, but if you book accommodation with the best location but one of the cheapest price in town, this is just a minor factor
Amazing hosts, super helpful and arranging. Great location in midigama, close to many surf spots (Rams, lazy R&L..) ! the room is confortable and clean, and the guesthouse in itself is calm and safe. really recommend
