The whole atmosphere of the place was really nice. You could see monkeys jumping around in the tree tops and hear the birds singing. The bathrooms and showers were really clean and the hammocks were really comfortable.

The staff were very friendly and the spaces were always kept clean and tidy. It had a filtered water tap. Not too far from beaches. I enjoyed this place as a solo female backpacker, it's a good way to meet other travellers.

This brand new hostel was clean and very comfortable. The beds were nice and large. Each bed had its own plug and light. The bathroom was very clean, shower had decent water pressure.

Helena Hostel is located super good! It takes you only one minute to the main road to get some food (for local price). 5 minutes to the Dickwella beach and around 7 minutes to Hiriketiya beach. The family which runs the hostel is super nice and helpful! After 10 days it felt a bit like home :-)

Super nice new hostel, the living room is spacious, bedroom is clean, owner is a really kind and helpful guy, he also managed someone to rent us a scooter! Location is perfect, couple of minutes walking to Dickwella beach and Hiriketiya beach!
