Communal area is nice and comfy .. Nice couch to watch tv and go about on the laptop Wifi is good Most insane thing i love abt this place is its location !!! The bus stop to all resort is a stone throw away !!! Bathroom and pods are clean cozy and locker spacious

Situated in Matsumoto and with Matsumoto Station reachable within 1 km, Couch Potato Hostel features free bikes, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a shared lounge. Take, the owner of the hostel, is a very welcoming, friendly nice guy. He apparently runs the hostel all by himself with help from friends sometimes. He lives there as well. The hostel is well maintained, very clean and spacious. There are two mixed dormitories downstairs, two single beds and two three-bed rooms upstairs. Two toilets and a shower downstairs, and one toilet and shower upstairs. The place feels very homely. I met quite a few other solo travellers that night during my stay and we all had a lovely chat. It was a great atmosphere. Take even goes out of his way to recommend me dinner options and next day itinerary recommendations. Guy has a drawn map for evening and morning food options, as well as biking and walking route for sightseeing. For the nearby onsen, take prepares a shower kit for guests to bring for use over there. Honestly I felt well taken care of, in a safe and comfortable location. The living room and kitchen is free to use for guests. Matsumoto felt like a safe town too and everywhere was easily accessible on foot or on bike. It is a hostel I will visit again for sure.

Set in Asahi, 19 km from The Japan Ukiyo-e Museum, Guesthouse Kazenowa offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. This 1-star hostel offers a shared kitchen and free WiFi.... It is much more than a guesthouse. It is a family stay. You will get to eat Japanese food with the owners, Wakuw and Ayano, and their three charming children. The place is in nature, not close to shops or transportation, but this is also part of the charm. If you do not have a car, it is best to discuss this with the owners. I stayed for 5 nights, used it as a base for traveling to nearby nature reserves (Kamikochi, Norikura) all within an hour’s drive, and had a great time. Meeting other travelers was also a great experience.

Matatagpuan sa Hakuba, limang minutong biyahe ang layo ng The Bohemians' Shelter mula sa Happo-One Ski Resort. Everything was great. Gaspard is the most amazing host, shuttling us to and from ski resorts and around town and helping us with anything we needed Roy is a great chef and I miss his cooking already. Thank you guys for having us!

Nagtatampok ng libreng WiFi at ng hot tub, ang Hostel & Cafe Yui-an ay nag-aalok ng accommodation sa Nagiso. May ihawan at terrace ang hostel at masisiyahan ang mga guest sa inumin sa bar. Great hosts, delicious veg and non veg food and a charming clean property on top of it. Highly recommended and one of our favorite accommodations during our month long trip to japan.

1166 Backpackers is located in Nagano, within less than 1 km of Zenkoji Temple and 2.5 km of Nagano Station. With a shared lounge, the 1-star hostel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Very friendly staff. They are around in the common area and are interested in a conversation. This lead to a lot of social interaction including both guests and staff. + clean place + location close to Zenko-ji temple + all in all the perfect hostel experience

Situated in Suzaka, within 1.9 km of Suzaka City Zoo and 14 km of Zenkoji Temple, Guest House Kura features accommodation with a shared lounge and as well as free private parking for guests who drive.... The best stay during our tour of Japan. This is the perfect feel of what a hostel should be like, a place to meet people who are also travelling and want a sense of community with fellow travellers. After 7pm there is not much to do in the region of Nagano/Suzaka, so socialising and drinking sake with others was an unforgettable way to pass time. The owners are very pleasant and they went to the local market to buy local delicacies for us all to share. Considering we travelled to the area just to visit the Snow Monkeys, this turned out to be our favourite stop and location
