Located in Hakuba, 9 km from Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area, Keimichi Guest House provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Guesthouse was very clean, the host was always available to help and really welcoming. The showers had great pressure and the toilets were always clean. The location was great for snow sports, free shuttle bus right outside the door to the slopes. The Kitchen was very clean and well kitted out - the dining / living space was also very well set up. Lockers were spacious and there is an area at the front door to keep your snow sports equipment. The people this venue attracts are well mannered and very friendly - I look forward to my next stay. Friendliest staff! Very comfortable, tasteful interiors and you can not beat the location! In a great residential area that is so close to everything! We met wonderful fellow guests and staff there too.

Situated in Nagiso, 8.4 km from Kotoku-ji Temple, Hostel Yui-an features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The hostel is beautifully designed and in a gorgeous setting. It’s a great place to relax and cozy up with a good book. There were only two other people staying when we were there so it didn’t feel like a hostel. Definitely recommend getting the dinner - it was very good and there aren’t any other nearby options. Sake tasting was fun! Like all the places I’ve stayed at in Japan, it was extremely clean.

Amazing experience in the Japanese Alps! We really enjoyed our stay at the traditional style room for 4 nights. The place is in a walking distance from the slopes and rentals and was easy to find. Many thanks to the owners for their hospitality, warm atmosphere, valuable advice and help! Only good memories!

Located in Nagiso, 4.7 km from Kotoku-ji Temple, MOUNTAinn Nagiso features views of the river. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Great location for anyone exploring the Nakasendo trail, MOUNTAinn is right beside Nagiso station. Staff is very welcoming and accomodating, we asked with a short notice if they could come earlier for check in and they agreed right away. The house is very pretty, clean and big, with comfy beds and cosy common area. The little terrace with a stunning view is absolutely fabulous for a morning coffee. There are also some magazines and books to read, and a CD/ radio player which makes it feel very homy. There are 2 sinks and 2 shower rooms which is convenient for bigger groups of travellers. We had a fantastic stay!
