Sooo comfortable and cosy! Double beds and private sections in the dorm make it feel like you almost have your own room. The kotatsu heated tables are a godsend. The owner is super sweet and makes tasty cheap meals if you don't feel like going out. Location is perfect, next to the station (and bus stop for Snow Monkeys, ski resort) as well as a convenient Lawson. There's water, tea and coffee and a fridge for guests. You get a free ticket to the local onsen! And Koharu the dog will take endless head scratches!

Big thanks to the team! You won’t find a better staff! The lodge owners take care of their staff and the staff took great care of us! Daily breakfast and shuttles to local mountains were the perfect way to start each day! Shuttle: Staff was very accommodating when we wanted rides to restaurants and the walk back was reasonable; 25 minutes was the longest walk and was quite pleasant even in a light snow. Location: there are 10 ski resorts that are all different, so unless you wanted to stay on one and stay there, the location doesn’t really matter. We went to several different and the shuttle system the lodge runs was great! Starfall was also a 10 minute walk one way to the bus terminal and 10 the other to the train. Room was great! Beds were comfortable and plenty of space in our room. Closet had a waist high shelf perfect for a full size suitcase and more. Lots of hangers. Warm heater. Facilities were awesome-we had two daughters (9, 13) with us. They were very comfortable and had a great time with the staff. There are 6 toilets in private set ups. Never had to wait to use the bathroom. The two showers were also great. Warm outer rooms to undress/dress and spacious showers with two shower heads; nice hot water! We never had to wait for a shower either. Dry room: very helpful and had our ski gear nice and toasty in the AM! If anything, the room was a little hot while getting ready, but we just stepped out onto the covered porch to finish dressing for the slopes! Overall-can’t recommend enough!

The team was extremely hospitable. From arranging pick ups from check-in day/check-out day to daily visits to different fields by dropping us to the nearest bus stops. He also checked on us from time to time if everything was okay. As we chose a shared dorm, we were prepared for certain inconvenience, however, we were also fortunate that the people living in the shared dorm were real friendly and considerate, we even went skiing together. There was also a common room where guests were able to chill together. its not surprising why bohemians' shelter has an extremely high rating with repeated guests. the meals prepared by bianca & liam were great too!

El Hostel Yui-an se encuentra en Nagiso y ofrece restaurante, bar, salón compartido y jardín. Este hostel de 1 estrella cuenta con cocina compartida y consigna de equipaje. El lugar es increíble Hiro, Ray y Erika son muy amables y nos orientaron en cualquier duda que tuvimos sobre la ruta nakasendo. La comida es deliciosa. Tienen una linda biblioteca que puedes hojear mientras disfrutas de un te y del hermoso paisaje o dentro de la casa que es muy apacible.

El 1166 Backpackers, situado en el centro de la ciudad, ofrece alquiler de bicicletas, conexión de wifi gratis, habitaciones compartidas y habitaciones privadas de estilo japonés. The staff were incredibly friendly, and I absolutely loved the tea they served. The traditional Japanese house is stunning, and the hot water bottle was such a thoughtful touch. I’ll definitely be back—thank you so much!

El Morino Lodge está situado a solo 10 minutos a pie del teleférico de la estación de esquí de Happo One y ofrece un alojamiento acogedor con habitaciones amplias y un salón moderno. Hotel is very good, their staff so good. Rooms is very good and comfortable.

El Guest House Kura ofrece alojamiento asequible en habitaciones compartidas en un antiguo almacén tradicional Kura de seda. También goza de vistas al jardín tradicional y estacionamiento gratuito. La hospitalidad y el buen gusto en la decoración del lugar. Es encantador, todo de madera como una auténtica casa japonesa. En la misma habitacion hay una sala de descanso con una mesa y puedes dejar tus cosas allí. Se duerme en fotón encima del tatami, aunque el primer día resulta extraño, el segundo ya estás bien. En la habitación hay aire acondicionado y una estufa de gas. También hay una manta térmica para el fotón. Pero lo mejor es la ayuda que te ofrecen para visitar los alrededores y la buena conversación. Recomendables 100% para vivir realmente un Ryocan mas humilde y auténtico.

El K's House Hakuba Alps está situado a 9 minutos a pie de la estación JR Kamishiro y cuenta con zona de salón común y habitaciones con conexión wifi gratis. The lounge was extremely beautiful and filled with a warm atmosphere.

Echo GuestHouse se encuentra en Hakuba, a 8,3 km de Estación de esquí Tsugaike Kogen y a 43 km de Estación de Nagano. Ofrece alojamiento con salón de uso común y estacionamiento privado gratis. The people traveling through were friendly and down to chat, Raymond is an absolute legend/mate. Would recommend he's an encyclopedia of knowledge around the hakuba region.
