The Bohemians Shelter is the place to go if you want to Ski in Japan. The house is surrounded by nature, and if your lucky, your greeted by snow monkeys on your way to the slopes. The house is clean and very cozy. Its a place to meet new people, make friends and new connections. Moreover the owner Gaspar is fantastic. Always ready to help you with whatever you need, and a super nice guy! Most nights they offer a delicious dinner to a very affordable price! Cant wait to be back!

Guest House Kura offers affordable dormitory-style accommodations in a building that was formerly a traditional Kura warehouse for storing silk. The best stay during our tour of Japan. This is the perfect feel of what a hostel should be like, a place to meet people who are also travelling and want a sense of community with fellow travellers. After 7pm there is not much to do in the region of Nagano/Suzaka, so socialising and drinking sake with others was an unforgettable way to pass time. The owners are very pleasant and they went to the local market to buy local delicacies for us all to share. Considering we travelled to the area just to visit the Snow Monkeys, this turned out to be our favourite stop and location

A 9-minute walk from JR Kamishiro Station, K's House Hakuba Alps features a common lounge area and rooms with free Wi-Fi. It is located in Hakuba Village, Nagano Prefecture. This is my 3rd time staying at K's house Hakuba. Thank you Toshi san hosing and so happy to be here again. This time is the most memorable one ever. The first thing I must commend is the host; they are friendly and helpful, contributing significantly to making your stay more relaxing and comfortable. K's house is 5-10mins from Kamishiro Station, and 10mins walk to the Goryu snow resort. Daily shuttle bus available run by Goryu snow resort. It has got a well-Equipped Kitchen, with a fridge, toaster, microwave. The common area offers coffee and tea bags, as well as a snack area where guests can purchase quick and easy snacks. These amenities add to the convenience and comfort of the stay.

Located in Nagiso, 4.7 km from Kotoku-ji Temple, MOUNTAinn Nagiso features views of the river. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a terrace. It was crossing the street from the station! Very convenient and nice walking trail into Tsumago. The house is well equipped and the staff was super friendly.
