Situated in Takayama, within 24 km of Takayama Station and 26 km of Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village, Cocomock House features accommodation with ski-to-door access and as well as free private parking... 1.The hotel is located in the heart of the mountains (we arrived there by car) so is perfect for relaxing. 2.They provide free coffee and tea! :) 3. parking is free too!! :D 4. The decoration is so cute!! There is artificial grass and hammocks that make you feel that you are camping outdoors :D. There are also inspiring pictures that the owner took from his travels. 5. We stayed there to visit Kamikochi. Akandana parking is a few minutes away (by car) but there are other tourist facilities nearby :D.

Set in Shirakawa, 150 metres from Shirakawago, GuestHouse Shirakawa-Go INN offers accommodation with a shared lounge and free private parking. Clean and modern facility. Owner was clear and friendly. It is a Guest Inn, aka a Hostel, so expect accordingly. I feel it is a bit unfair that other reviews complain about gaps to a Hotel service, it is not a Hotel. Rooms are private but bathrooms and kitchen are shared. Showers were great and super clean. The kitchen area was well equipped and there were a few items for sale like instant noodles, chips and water. As it is not located in Shirakawa-go (where you go sightseeing as a tourist) the Inn offers a shuttle to Shirakawa-Go bus stop. This was really good! Without big luggage you could also walk there in 25 minutes.

Only a 2-minute walk from JR Takayama Station, K's House Takayama Oasis offers free WiFi throughout the property. The hosts are so nice and really helpful. They are willing to answer all the questions. Very close to the station. All facilities are clean, highly recommended!

JR Takayama Train Station is 1.3 km from the guest house. The hostel is just a １-minute walk from Yuko-no-oka bus stop. The guesthouse is clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Although it's a bit far from the station, it's near Hida Fork village and the host provides a shuttle bus to the station every morning. The room is spacious and clean as well. The view from the room was beautiful. I had a great time there. Thank you very much!

Boasting spacious hot spring baths for a fee, Natural Onsen Hostel Hidamari no Yu is hostel accommodation located in Takayama. The place is really good, and the onsen is very nice, The staff is very nice and helpful, There is not a close bus station but they provide shuttle to takayama station, We really enjoyed our stay!
