Set in Shirakawa, 46 km from Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village, GuestHouse Shirakawa-Go INN offers air-conditioned accommodation and a shared lounge. We were so lucky that it has 2 rooms to accommodate us during a peak autumn season. We drive there and able to park just outside the inn.

Only a 2-minute walk from JR Takayama Station, K's House Takayama Oasis offers free WiFi throughout the property. A beautiful Japanese style hotel, we got the Japanese room! It's definitely one of the best experience we had in Japan! Staff was amazing, super friendly, spoke english very well. The common area was great to hangout at, and the kitchen is spacious and well-equipped. There's washer and dryer if you need to wash your clothes. The rooftop was great, we went up there twice a day. The room is nice and clean, everything works perfectly.

The location was remarkable, the morning market is 2-3 minutes walk. Everything else is less 15-20 minutes. The shower was powerful! Didn’t expect that from a hostel. The property was very clean.

Situated in Takayama, 2.1 km from Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village, Tomato Takayama Station features views of the city. This 2-star hostel offers a shared kitchen, a shared lounge and free WiFi. We were accomodated in different place than was advertised, so I cannot review anything. Price was high, but it could be because of the autumn festival that was happening that day.
