The facilities are very simple and VERY clean. We came in summer. The AC works very well. The staff was comprehensive and authentic. The staff’s outstanding service & hospitality rivaled luxury all-inclusives. Guests can also rent bikes on-site, which is the best way to see the smaller streets in town (outside of day-your hours). The downstairs lounge area is well-equipped. I have natural, curly, kinky hair and the water pressure was good and the water hot. They provide coffee, shampoo, conditioner, tea, body wash, towels, toothbrushes, and hairdryers. However I did not require these things as I had my own. Note to my fellow Americans: The staff are extremely accommodating already. I did see other American guests attempt to abuse this. Please: 1. Respect the check-in and check-out times. 2. Do not ask for free rides or to drop off your bag 6 hours early! There are at least 2 luggage storage facilities. 1 is located AT the bus station 10meters from the entrance and the other 20 meters. It’s $3 or $4. Keep it kind and respectful. You won’t regret choosing this location for the money. Great value and such a cozy feel.

Only a 2-minute walk from JR Takayama Station, K's House Takayama Oasis offers free WiFi throughout the property. Loved the staff and the it’s perfectly located in my opinion

It feels like a traditional Japanese house but had modern facilities (heated toilets, electric blankets…) The location is far from the station but the staff is kind enough to shuttle you over in the morning. Just be aware that the public buses don’t run at night.

The place is really good, and the onsen is very nice, The staff is very nice and helpful, There is not a close bus station but they provide shuttle to takayama station, We really enjoyed our stay!

Backpackers Hida Takayama se nachází v atraktivní lokalitě ve čtvrti Hida Takayama Onsen v destinaci Takajama. The pods were really comfortable and all the washrooms were spotlessly clean. All of the kitchen facilities were great! And even better, the washing machines and driers are free to use! You just need washing detergent- which is available for 100Yen.

We were accomodated in different place than was advertised, so I cannot review anything. Price was high, but it could be because of the autumn festival that was happening that day.
