She arranged a tour for us for 18,000 LKR, offered us tea in the morning before we left, and kindly assisted and guided us to our next destination. Without a doubt, highly recommended! The bathroom was also clean, and the room was spotless.

We were really happy we chose this place for our 3-night stay at Tissa. I will not write much about the place, the room and the facilities provided and the quality of services provided by the host; they are all better described by other guests and they are all true. I will - above all - point out the amazing care dedicated by the host and his wife in order to serve us the best quality of ingredients and prepared the finest dishes of Sri Lankan cuisine! That was the only place of all Sri Lanka over a 3+ week period where we had the chance (and the luck) to taste authentic local food - and it was amazing! Don't miss this opportunity and book your dinner (half-board) with them... you won't regret it!

Todo estaba perfecto, TV, limpio, sin ruido, ducha caliente… Muy buena atención del encargado, súper amable. Buen sitio para quedarse antes de ir al parque de Yala.

We did the full day safari and it was a great experience! We saw so many amazing animals. We cannot recommend this place enough. The family is so kind and the service is excellent. The room is also very clean and comfortable with high quality Aircon.

Priyanka was a wonderful host. After arriving from a hot afternoon safari I was greeted with a cold towel and a fresh coconut. The room is large, clean and has a/c. The dinner and breakfast prepared by his wife was delicious. It was great value. Overall a fantastic one night stay. I highly recommended this guest house.

We had an incredible time at the lake face cabana. One of our highlights in Sri Lanka. We stayed at a cabin for 2 nights so we can do an early morning Safari at Yala National Park. The location is like a hidden Oasis. It’s in the middle of nature, overlooking a beautiful lake full of charm and wild (harmless) animals. What’s most amazing are the owners family of this hotel. Hard working parents with two young daughters who from the moment we stepped in made us feel like we are visiting family. Very friendly, with very impressive story of resilience and hard work to get to where they are today. The food was so delicious, cooked with love by the owner. We had dream breakfasts, tea and fruit platters, all sorts of juices and of course delicious rice and curry (the best we had in Sri Lanka) For the Safari we booked through the company which was recommended through this hotel, and we were picked up at 4:30 for a 30-40 minutes drive to the national park. The owner also offered for us a free tour in the nearby area to see the fruit bats which are very impressive to watch. You can also watch all sorts of birds and wild life while sitting in the balcony of the Cabana which was magical. We didn’t want to leave in the last day, and saying goodbye to the family was the hardest as it felt we were saying goodbye to family. Certainly the best part of our Sri Lanka trip. And we will definitely go back again.

Nunca me sentí tan afortunado al encontrar un hotel como esta vez, todo me encantó, el dueño super amigable, estás super conectado con la naturaleza, el perro, yango, una hermosura de animal. La habitación acorde al lugar. Tuvimos la suerte de ver una manada de búfalos pasando por el jardín, y en el lago del hotel hay unos cocodrilos muy amigables. Sin duda alguna el dueño del lugar se encargó de que nuestra estancia fuera mágica.

V Cabanas & Yala Safari Place se encuentra en Tissamaharama, a 2,6 km de Tissa Wewa, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. Hosts were so friendly and helpful, they helped us book a safari which was also excellent and very good price. One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in in Sri Lanka. Hot water, good AC, very clean, couldn’t be nicer!

Viveka Inn Guest and Yala Safari se encuentra en Tissamaharama, a 7 min a pie de Tissa Wewa, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, restaurante y bar. The family that run Viveka are just wonderful. The actual property is superb, hidden behind a back road and opening up to a gorgeous rice paddy filled with exotic birds. The gardens that you can chill, sit and eat in are also so beautiful. We saw turtles in their river, it was really cool. The Safari they booked for us was AMAZING. Our guide was the first one at any leopard siting and just absolutely blew us away. We cannot recommend booking safari through Viveka enough. Our safari guide was called Sule.

El MOON LIGHT Guest House se encuentra a 1,1 km de la estación de autobuses de Tissamaharama y a 3,2 km del precioso lago Tissa y ofrece restaurante, bicicletas gratuitas y alojamiento independiente... La localización es perfecta para relajarse, está un poco alejado del centro del Tissamaharama, justo lo que buscábamos. El trato fue excepcional. Íbamos a hacer un safari al día siguiente de nuestra llegada y como nos recogían antes del desayuno, nos prepararon un sándwich y unas tortitas de coco al llegar, ya que no íbamos a poder desayunar. De lo más rico que hemos comido. Tiene un jardín con bancos y hamacas para descansar. La habitación está muy bien de tamaño y muy limpia. El aire acondicionado y el wifi funcionan muy bien. Nos dejaron un secador de pelo y un repelente de mosquitos eléctrico para enchufar en la habitación. Nos ofrecieron hacer el safari con ellos pero ya teníamos uno contratado. Muy buen precio.
