Located in Udawalawe, NATURE HOUSE offers rustic accommodation with free WiFi access available at all areas. Rooms are comfortable, clean and fitted with a spacious private terrace. This is a fantastic place to stay when visiting Udawalawe national park. The staff was excellent, and the hotel was a real beauty. A lovely pool made sure we could cool down, and a small balcony outside our room gave us extra space to relax. We would highly recommend booking a safari through this hotel. We went in the afternoon (from 14.00 to 18.00), and we had a great time. Our guide was excellent - so knowledgable and comsiderate. We would also recommend the dinner at the hotel - a superb curry buffet.

The rooms are spacious, good water pressure and very clean. They have a beautiful little garden, where you can relax. The owner is a great host, very friendly and helpful. They made a delicious rice and curry for us and it was one of the best we had in Sri Lanka. Definitely recommend this place!

However, this turned out to be a great surprise as the facility and staff exceeded our expectations. The room was very clean, the best bathroom during our Sri Lanka trip, comfortable. The backyard is a forest with an amazing feeling of nature being next to you. The staff (a young brother and sister) were really great. Our breakfast was marvelous. And the facility was very very cheap. I think the team should reconsider the prices. We also used their jeep for safari and the price and quality was very good. Suresh was our guide and he was very very good with identifying all species of birds, not just a generic elephant observer. We were very satisfied with our tour. This was a great stay for us and we can suggest to everyone.

The couple that has the place were really nice and helpful. Good WiFi.

They’re lovely family that will make you feel welcomed and help organizing whatever you may need. Room was clean and dry, it had well working air condition, fridge and hair dryer! Bathrooms were nice and clean too. Good WiFi connection. We bought safari organized by them. It was a bit more expensive to what you can find on the internet but definitely worth it. It included all entrance and car fees + breakfast and lunch. The driver was very nice, not rushing anywhere. And it lasted over 6 hours (in comparison to regular 4h ones). We definitely recommend.

We realy loved this place/ a thrue paradise I would recommand this place to everyone Perfect getaway... we had a lovely swim in the lake, were allowed to use the canoe We were surrounded by nature in all it's beauty The owner was very kind to us, he showed us around in the garden, helped us wherever he could, was very kind to our kid and arranged a wonderfull safari and trip to the elephant orphanage In total: we had a great time in this quiet peacefull paradise!
