Featuring garden views, EdenHaven Cottage provides accommodation with terrace, around 14 km from Udawalawe National Park. Boasting room service, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. It was the best stay in Sri Lanka but not the most expensive. Everything was clean, new, well mentained and functional. The host picked us up at the bus stop when we arrived and droped us off for free to another further junction when we left. When we went to our room, they already made the tea waiting for us. Also we had 2 bottles of water. Hot shwer worked well. For this price it was really like a true 4 star hotel. The room design was simple and elegant. Even though there was no air con, yhe night was cool. We really enjoyed this place! We booked the safari tour as well :) We had to leave earlier so we didn't take the lunch there. (USD 7 per person by the way)

There is so much love to detail and exquisite designs. The food cooked by his mom and wife was one of the best curries we had in sri lanka. Mihiri also booked a safari for us and we were so happy about our guide. It was very helpful that you could pay for everything through an online link. Definitely recommend.

Featuring an open-air bath and views of quiet street, Mango Tree House is a recently renovated guest house located in Udawalawe, 17 km from Udawalawe National Park. Wonderful place to stay to enjoy Udawalawe Park owned by a welcoming couple. The bungalows are large, clean, and beautifully constructed. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio in the evening and showering in the outdoor waterfall shower. We were greeted with tea and cake. Dinner is spectacular vegetarian Sri Lankan cuisine. Go for the tours offered by the hosts as well. They are great. We did a 4 hour morning safari and saw many elephants, often without other jeeps around, as well as loads of birds, plus water buffalo and a crocodile. All in all, a wonderful operation. Perfect one night stop for your time in Udawalawe.

Set 11 km from Udawalawe National Park, La Casa Safari Resort offers accommodation with a terrace, as well as a garden and a bar. Guests staying at this guest house have access to a balcony. One of the best stays I've had in the Sri Lanka. The tree house was magical and the service was terrific. They organized everything I needed to have a great safari experience.

With river views, Silent River Cottage is set in Udawalawe and has a restaurant and a 24-hour front desk. It is situated 16 km from Udawalawe National Park and features room service. Beautiful setting and Amila and his family were so kind and helpful. Food was delicious and very generous. They organized Safari for us with a picnic and good driver to pick us up and for safari. Would highly recommend!

Located within 16 km of Udawalawe National Park in Udawalawe, Yonan River Face Safari Resort features accommodation with seating area. Stop searching and book this accommodation immediately!!!!!!!!!! Booking doesn't offer such a high rating as I would like to give for this accommodation. The owner gave us a presentation of everything he cultivates, and we had the opportunity to taste it. He allowed us to use the kayak, bicycles, and helped with renting scooter. Also he arranged safari tour for a good price. We stayed one night longer than planned because we didn't want to leave this magical place. Location, host, dinner, breakfast, everything was PERFECT.
