Located just 14 km from Udawalawe National Park, EdenHaven Cottage offers accommodation in Udawalawe with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as room service. Anju, his brother and mom were amazing. The mom cooked delicious dinner for us, with a birthday cake and gift for my partner. The rooms big and clean,nice bathroom. Nice veranda, nice gardens. Loads of mosquitoes- but that’s Sri Lanka. There is a net over the bed if you want. Had trouble with the hot water which was fixed right away. For us the mattress was very hard and in the room there isn’t a chair. We did the safari which was amazing - so worth it! Breakfast was simple with egg toast, some Sri Lanken food, fruit tea and coffee Thanks Anju and dear family - we’ll be back for sure.

This place was one of my favourites in Sri Lanka! It is quite a lovely surprise! Calm area, very nice outdoor setting, the room was very spacious (as well as the bathroom!) So let's talk details: - The food: Amazing! home made food served on a banana leaf, accompanied by candle lights and the sounds of nature! - The Safari: Dimu provided us with the contact of a local who drives safari cars, and who was very nice company on my trip! He gave me a few pointers, and was very flexible with my requests. - The Massage: They also have a nearby masseuse who offers traditional Sri Lanki Ayurvedic massage in her home, with home made oils/creams.... Oh my God! It was so good, I did not want it to end! - The helpfulness: Dimu also arranged a taxi to my next destination, and made sure I was fully safe as I was travelling alone and it was quite late at night. He joined the trip to help me feel safe! Overall, totally worth it, you will really enjoy! !

Located 17 km from Udawalawe National Park, Sungreen Safari Resort offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as an indoor pool and a garden. Lovely clean property. Comfy bed. Nice balcony to sit out and watch the moneys from. Simple but good breakfast.

The place is.really amazing.The room nice and comfortable,.we enjoyed swimming and relaxing beside the river, the breakfast was excellent and the owner so kind and helpful.He arranged a safari for us which was amazing and gave us bicycles to go around..Wish we could stay more.

Janaka has thought of everything, every detail adds to the serenity and comfort of the place. The room was spacious and comfortable with a great bathroom, living area and outside area. The food was outstanding every time. Janaka is such a lovely host, helpful and friendly and knowledgeable about the area and even was able to recommend a money changer in Tangalle. Thank you Janaka for making my birthday so special!!
