Anju, his brother and mom were amazing. The mom cooked delicious dinner for us, with a birthday cake and gift for my partner. The rooms big and clean,nice bathroom. Nice veranda, nice gardens. Loads of mosquitoes- but that’s Sri Lanka. There is a net over the bed if you want. Had trouble with the hot water which was fixed right away. For us the mattress was very hard and in the room there isn’t a chair. We did the safari which was amazing - so worth it! Breakfast was simple with egg toast, some Sri Lanken food, fruit tea and coffee Thanks Anju and dear family - we’ll be back for sure.

This place was one of my favourites in Sri Lanka! It is quite a lovely surprise! Calm area, very nice outdoor setting, the room was very spacious (as well as the bathroom!) So let's talk details: - The food: Amazing! home made food served on a banana leaf, accompanied by candle lights and the sounds of nature! - The Safari: Dimu provided us with the contact of a local who drives safari cars, and who was very nice company on my trip! He gave me a few pointers, and was very flexible with my requests. - The Massage: They also have a nearby masseuse who offers traditional Sri Lanki Ayurvedic massage in her home, with home made oils/creams.... Oh my God! It was so good, I did not want it to end! - The helpfulness: Dimu also arranged a taxi to my next destination, and made sure I was fully safe as I was travelling alone and it was quite late at night. He joined the trip to help me feel safe! Overall, totally worth it, you will really enjoy! !

Eagle Safari Family Bungalow er staðsett 17 km frá Udawalawe-þjóðgarðinum og býður upp á gistirými með svölum, innisundlaug og garð. Gististaðurinn er með aðgang að verönd og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Lovely clean property. Comfy bed. Nice balcony to sit out and watch the moneys from. Simple but good breakfast.

Forest Edge Safari Villa er staðsett í innan við 16 km fjarlægð frá Udawalawe-þjóðgarðinum í Udawalawe og býður upp á gistirými með setusvæði. Really clean place, the best breakfast we ate during our trip. The owner is super friendly and nice, took us also to Udawalawe National Park and really tried to find an elephants - and he did it despite that we have dry season so it wasnt easy :) I really recommend that place, the room has view on forest so you can see monkeys jumping everywhere.

The place is relaxing and very homey feels like. The owner of the place is a couple and have done fantastic accommodation and services. The room was tidy, especially the bathroom. They serve delicious food for breakfast. Our whole 2 nights stay was well spent. Many thanks to Amila and family for treating us not just like guests but more of a family. 🥰

Yonan River Face Safari Resort er staðsett í innan við 16 km fjarlægð frá Udawalawe-þjóðgarðinum og býður upp á gistirými með setusvæði. The place is.really amazing.The room nice and comfortable,.we enjoyed swimming and relaxing beside the river, the breakfast was excellent and the owner so kind and helpful.He arranged a safari for us which was amazing and gave us bicycles to go around..Wish we could stay more.

Kuma Safari Lodge er staðsett í Udawalawe, 5,5 km frá Udawalawe-þjóðgarðinum og býður upp á garð og garðútsýni. Það er veitingastaður á staðnum og ókeypis einkabílastæði og ókeypis WiFi eru í boði. Kuma and his wife were so helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble! The room was exceptionally clean , spacious and well equipped with a lovely covered area to relax with a book. Home cooked food was delicious and plentiful. Kuma also organised us a fantastic safari at the close by Udawalawe Park with a great driver/guide who found us lots of different animals, plus he arranged a trip to the Elephant Transit home which coincided with the baby elephants being given their milk. A truly unforgettable stay, and excellent value for money. I would definitely return there.
