Wonderful place to stay to enjoy Udawalawe Park owned by a welcoming couple. The bungalows are large, clean, and beautifully constructed. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio in the evening and showering in the outdoor waterfall shower. We were greeted with tea and cake. Dinner is spectacular vegetarian Sri Lankan cuisine. Go for the tours offered by the hosts as well. They are great. We did a 4 hour morning safari and saw many elephants, often without other jeeps around, as well as loads of birds, plus water buffalo and a crocodile. All in all, a wonderful operation. Perfect one night stop for your time in Udawalawe.

Booking doesn't offer such a high rating as I would like to give for this accommodation. The owner gave us a presentation of everything he cultivates, and we had the opportunity to taste it. He allowed us to use the kayak, bicycles, and helped with renting scooter. Also he arranged safari tour for a good price. We stayed one night longer than planned because we didn't want to leave this magical place. Location, host, dinner, breakfast, everything was PERFECT.
