I must thank the Manager (did not get his name) for refunding me for a night's stay as there was a change in plans. He was very, very kind. I loved the in-house onsen.

Very convenient stop along the Kumano-Kodo route. We brought our own food for dinner and the host set up a nice table outside for us. Everything was very clean and the host is really nice.

신구에 자리한 AJITO Hostel & CafeBar에서는 무료 자전거, 무료 전용 주차장, 바 등을 이용하실 수 있습니다. 숙소는 Shingu Castle Ruins Park에서 6분 거리에 있습니다. 이 게스트하우스에는 무료 Wi-Fi가 완비되어 있습니다. Very clean and modern, excellent quality amenities were provided. Everything was done with a lot of thought and care. I felt so relaxed to arrive after a long travel day to a place so comfortable. Loved the pajamas too. The owner is also very friendly and accommodating - we went to his restaurant for dinner and the food was amazing and everyone was sooo welcoming

The owner has a good energy and very respectful I guess to all kind of guest either you like to stay quiet or being friendly. I could see his good care for the comfort in every corner. I enjoyed his expression and I respect his transparency. Cool owner. Thank you for all kindness and openness.

시라하마에 자리한 ゲストハウス三軒家에서는 정원, 무료 전용 주차장, 공용 라운지, 테라스 등을 이용하실 수 있습니다. 숙소는 Ezura Beach에서 1km 내 거리에 있습니다. 숙소는 Rinkaiura Beach에서 2km, Shirahama Art Museum에서 14분 거리, Kishu Museum of Art에서 2.9km 거리에 있습니다. Everything was so great. The host was the best I've ever met and the room was super cozy to stay. 지금까지 가봤던 어떤 숙소보다 직원이 친절하고 사려깊었으며 모든것이 청결하고 정갈해서 정말 편안하게 묵었습니다. 다른 호텔에서는 히터바람에 숨막혀서 잠도 제대로 못자는데 이곳에서는 밤새 완벽한 잠을 청할 수 있었습니다. 시라하마에서 하루 더 묵었다면 분명 이곳에 있었을겁니다.

신구에 자리한 くまの蔵inn Warehouse에서는 무료 자전거, 무료 전용 주차장, 정원 등을 이용하실 수 있습니다. 숙소는 Kamikura Shrine에서 13분 거리에 있습니다. The host Koji drove us to our Kumano River tour the next day which was a 20 minute drive and he did it very generously for us. He was very flexible with our check-in time and was extremely gracious and friendly and helpful and made sure we were very comfortable and then left us alone. The apartment was great for four people and it was quirky and spotless and charming. I would definitely stay again.

고야산에 자리한 Guest House Suzumeno Kakurembo에서는 레스토랑, 금연실 객실, 무료 Wi-Fi 등을 제공합니다. 숙소는 Kishi Station에서 37km 거리에 있습니다. 해당 2성급 게스트하우스에는 수하물 보관소 등이 완비되어 있습니다. Very genuinely kind staff. The room is very comfortable with complete amenities. The adjoining restaurant/cafe also provided delicious food for dinner and breakfast. Totally recommended for people who want to enjoy Koyasan but wanting to save on accommodation by not staying in the temples.

고야산에 자리한 Guest House hachi hachi에서 머물러보세요. 숙소는 Matsushita Park에서 43km, Wanpaku Park에서 45km 거리에 있습니다. 이 1성급 게스트하우스에서는 에어컨, 공용 욕실, 무료 Wi-Fi가 완비된 객실을 이용하실 수 있습니다. So clean !!!! The owner was so helpful

Shimosato 내에 위치한 宿坊 大泰寺 Temple Hotel Daitai-ji에서 머물러보세요. 숙소는 Taiji Municipal Stone Wall Memorial Hall에서 4.8km, Hiromitsu Ochiai Baseball Hall에서 6.5km 거리에 있습니다. 무료 Wi-Fi가 제공됩니다. 구내에는 전용 주차장이 마련되어 있습니다.... Beautiful temple interiors and gardens, relaxing time by the river, very friendly staff and most of all, the experiences that you can book when staying there: zen meditation, meal appreciation, and copying of sutras, all with the chief monk himself who had a lot of patience to answer all our questions.

혼구 내 Hongucho Hongu 구역의 매력적인 장소에 자리한 Guesthouse Yui에서 머물러보세요. 숙소는 Hosshinmon Oji Shrine에서 8.5km, Kumanokodo Nakahechi Museum of Art에서 23km, Kumanoshi Kiwakozan Museum에서 24km 거리에 있습니다. I was so fortunate to choose Guesthouse Yui to spend over a week doing Kumano Kodo and stay for Christmas. I used it as a base to walk the Nakahechi route, catching the bus to/from the trail each day, as required. Staying at Guesthouse Yui made all this much easier and more enjoyable. The owner-operator Sanae-san is such a welcoming and caring host. She made my stay like a home-away-from-home. I had the tatami room nearest the entrance which was spacious, clean and warm. I made use of the common area for writing, emailing, watching TV. I was fortunate to be there during a slower time which made it not so busy, apparently. Regardless, Sanae-san put on a hot pot for 4 of us guests one night which was superb. The shower/bath facilities at the guesthouse are very good but I didn't use these much as there is an excellent community public bath a 5 minute walk away (and only 200 yen!). Mad if you don't use it. Kumano Hongo Taisha bus stop and the "town centre" is a 5 minute walk away. Here the dining options are good but very few. Sanae provides full use of the kitchen with stove, rice cooker, microwave etc if you want to cook. She also provides basic items such as beer, packet rice etc to purchase. I highly recommend Iwatani-san's Ramen restaurant on Monday and Tuesday nights, and Miyazushi the other nights.
