Guest House Hostel yukuru ligger i Iiyama, 14 km från Ryuoo skidpark, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering och en gemensam lounge. The property was in a nice location close enough to Iiyama Station. The hosts were some of the nicest people we have met and drove us to and from the station (6:30am!!). One of the comfiest places we have stayed and hope we can go back soon.

Plenty of space to place your snow gears. Honestly it was exceptional for the price we paid.

Shioriya ligger i Nagano, inom 7,6 km från Nagano station och 10 km från Zenkō-ji tempel. Stay here it will really enhance your Japanese travel experience. The most perfect four room hotel in a newly built beautiful Japanese home. The hosts are warm and welcoming. It’s like staying with a favourite friend or relative. It reminded me of staying with my grandmother when I was a little girl, they were so attentive and helpful. The rooms are warm and comfortable and impeccably clean. The breakfasts were the best food I had in Japan. Fresh local fruits and delicious home made soups. Off street parking and local bus and train transportation. Lots of helpful advice on attractions in and around the Nagano area and how to get there. (We loved the ‘snow monkeys’!) There are large grocery stores just around the corner and a lovely kitchen to use to prepare meals as well as local restaurants. Watch the kids walk and bike to school along the quiet street in front of the house and then catch an easy bus to Nagano Station to explore further afield.

Quiet edge of town location. Lovely rural house owned by private couple. Thoughtful friendly owners. Great facilities.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Really kind to arrange vegan breakfast for us. Always ready to assist and behaved very courteously. The place was very clean and well maintained. The onsen in the hotel was clean and hygienic with all the facilities. I highly recommend this hotel.

Tabi-shiro ligger i Matsumoto i Nagano, mindre än 1 km från Matsumoto station och 3,7 km från The Japan Ukiyo-e Museum. Här finns en bar. The staff was awesome, very helpful and friendly, beds were comfortable and even if you sleep in the dormitory there's blinds that will give you privacy. For conclusion amazing experience would return again.

Staying at this place made my life at that moment felt so surreal. This place and its surrounding is beyond beautiful! Its secluded location, near the forest, and there were even deers, the nicely designed room with traditional ambience yet and breathtaking view, everything was so perfect! Nishida-san delivered exceptional service. He prepared breakfast every morning, picked me up and dropped me off at the Bessho train station whenever I need without additional charge. I'll be back for sure! This place is idyllic and a perfect place to experience some solitude.
