Located an 8-minute walk from JR Takayama Station, Guest House Ouka offers accommodation in Takayama. Free WiFi is available in all areas, and guests can enjoy free coffee on the ground floor all day.... The staff were friendly and welcoming. They gave a helpful tour of the place on arrival. The common space was clean and had lots of books to read or couches to relax on. The dormitory had lots of room with good curtains for your bed for privacy.

Amazing place. The staff was extremly kind and helpful. The rooms, bathrooms and showers were clean, the beds in a two-bed room were very comfortable, the air-conditioner kept the room warm. The fact that the place is repurposed school, gives it great and unique atmosphere, that really adds to the serene and authentic experience that Magome offers.

Please don't think twice while booking this stay. It's just wonderful . We wish we had more time to spend at this wonderful gem of a place. And the host is very kind and helpful too and speaks good English. He even dropped us at magome where we started the trail. He has good collection of music too at his place which we were able to enjoy. We loved everything about this little village and our short stay. If you want a calm and cozy stay you should book this one.

The bathrooms were exceptionally clean, and the beds were super comfy, ensuring a restful night's sleep. I highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a cozy and delightful place to stay. Terletak di pusat Takayama, Takayama Ninja House terletak 15-minit berjalan kaki dari Stesen Takayama dan 3.5km dari Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village. I love the host, he is very nice ! He drove us to the station as we had many luggages. His instructions also very clear and i love the ryokan ninja style of the house!
